One Thousand and one nights

Prologue

"Come, come gather around," Namjoon calls out to the children playing together. "What's up dad?" the little girl asks, her big eyes looking at him. "Well, I know how much you and your brother love to hear my story's so let me tell you a new one."

The little boy sits in front of his father, waiting for him to continue with his stories. "Dad, you told us all of your story's..." the girl grumbles, crossing her arms over her chest and rolling her eyes. "No, he hasn't," the little boy lets out a little puff while glaring at his sister. Namjoon chuckles at the sound of his little ones having an argument about this but stops this before this could be worse. "Now, now it's not something we need to get in a fight with," Namjoon smiles, pulling up a chair that was sitting in the corner in the room. "Now let me think...where do I begin...?" he cogitates about it, resting his elbows on his thighs to hold his hands together and gaze at his children. "Oh yeah, I know where," he nods.

The little girl heaves a sigh but decides to sit down next to her bother to listen. "This story is about two lovers who are from two different ranks, there will be love, hate, vengeance...and magic," he stops, to look at his children. "My beautiful girl, I want you and your brother to answer something...Do you believe in magic?" his eyebrows raise. "Yeah!" the little boy answers right away in a joyful voice. "Yeah, I guess..." the girl says to follow. "Well, our adventure begins in the desert of Baghdad and in a city that is called Agrabah where there is a prince who has to marry and a girl who is so poor, that she has to steal to survive..."
