Chapter 1- Denial

Kaidou's P.O.V.

I've always considered myself straight. Of course there's nothing wrong with being gay, I've just never considered being with another man. After all, I, The Jet Black Wings, would like to protect my partner. I'm not saying girls are less capable than guys, it just, makes sense, you know? I had never been attracted to guys, including Aren because people seem to think we are gay together. Although truth be told, I'm starting to question my sexuality, and no it's not because of Aren. The thing is, I still like girls, is it possible to like both? Either way I have to head to school now.

Narrator-Chan's P.O.V.

Kaidou dashes out of the house and catches up to his friends, together they walk to school. The bell rings to head to class. The whole class seems to be in a dreary mood, of course Hairo being Hairo, just had to do something about it. He jumps up from his seat and heads to the front of the classroom. "C'mon guys, today's gonna be a great day! We're going to push ourselves!" He says enthusiastically. This seems to slightly lift the class spirit, as Hairo's enthusiasm is infectious as always.

Kaidou's P.O.V.

Damn Hairo's really good at raising the mood, it's crazy how he can do that. It's probably because he's so attractive...wait what? why did I think that?I'm not gay,  I'm just appreciating another mans looks...yeah that's it.

Narrator-Chan's P.O.V.

Kaidou continued to stare at Hairo, as the latter continued motivating the class. The teacher walked in and instructed Hairo to return to his seat.

~le time skip to H.P.E. class~

Hairo was hyped for H.P.E. as usual, although today was dodge ball so he was ecstatic. The class was split into two teams, Hairo and Nendo were put on opposite teams  to make it even remotely fair. The game started and balls were thrown in every which direction. Saki picked up a ball trying to remain perfectly average, unfortunately he underestimated his strength and it hit Kaidou in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him. Kaidou falls over, his head hits the ground causing him to black out.

Nendo runs over and starts to shake Kaidou, probably making the situation worse. Hairo desperately wanting to help, picks up Kaidou and carries him to the nurses office, yelling encouragement at himself, as well as Kaidou.
