Chapter 4

Part of Minjun wanted to pretend nothing happened between Taec and himself, but that was impossible because Taec was the first person greeting him every morning. To add to each greeting Taec would also have something for Minjun. One morning it was a cup of coffee and another morning it was a donut. After work Taec always had an invitation for Minjun, like going for food or taking a walk. Minjun started looking forward to seeing Taec and his greeting every morning. Honestly it made Minjun feel appreciated. Minjun didn't know how he should repay Taec for his kindness. Just as he was thinking of how he could show his appreciation of Taec's kindness Minjun's phone buzzed notifying him of a text message.

Minjunnie, I miss you. The text was from Nichkhun. Minjun's heart fluttered. He hadn't heard from Nichkhun since the meeting at Starbucks.

Hey, Khunnie, how are you? Minjun texted back.

I'm great, don't you miss me too? Nichkhun asked. Minjun thought about it and realized spending time with Taec had definitely made it easier to forget his feelings for Khun, but seeing that Khun was thinking about him made those forgotten emotions come forward.

I do miss you. Minjun typed.

Good then come see me, Woo Young and I will be doing Miniature golf tonight. Nichkhun replied. Minjun felt sick seeing that name again. Minjun responded with: Ok sounds good.

Khun texted the address as Minjun thought about Taec. He thought this is would be a great way to show Taec his appreciation of the nice things Taec had been doing. He went over to Taec's desk. The other man smiled immediately when he saw Minjun there.

"Hey Taec are you into miniature golf?" Minjun asked.

"Golf, Taec scrunched up his nose, will you be there?"

"Duh, I am the one asking, Minjun started, well Nichkhun asked me."

"Oh is this another double date with Woo Young?" Taec asked.

"Unfortunately." Minjun said.

"You think you might get drunk again?" Taec asked with a mischievous smile. Minjun smacked Taec's shoulder.

"You want to go or not?" Minjun asked.

"Of course, Taec replied, who else will save you from your jealousy?" Minjun couldn't hold back his surprise of Taec calling him out as he asked: "Jealous of what?" He chuckled wishing he had been able to play it off more and started walking back to his work area still feeling Taec's smile on his back.

Hey I am going to bring my friend Taec. Minjun texted Nichkhun.

Oh, ok, you guys are still a thing. Nichkhun texted back. Minjun thought Nichkhun's text had a tone, but he ignored it.

Yes, is it ok if he comes too? Minjun asked.

Sure, you two seem to be getting serious. Khun texted. Minjun thought about what he wanted to say. He was really starting to like Taec, but his heart always seemed to bring him back to Nichkhun. Finally Minjun texted: Well, its better than being a third wheel.

I see... meet us at 7pm. Khun replied.

Minjun was nervous about seeing Khun, and hoped his emotions didn't take over as they had previously in the past. After work a smiling Taec walked over to Minjun's desk.

"Are you ready?" Taec asked. Minjun was standing as he continued to type on the computer.

"Yes, just let me... he continued to type...finish." He clicked away saving the document.
