The Adventures of Silk, Spiderman, and Venom

Chapter 5

Silk looks inside the meteor.

Silk- I don't thiink it brought anything. I can't see nything.

Spiderman looks close, but not too close.

Spiderman- It doesn't look like it brought anything, but something was  here. I'm getting an eerie feeling from this thing, like something was here.

Silk- Oh boi.

Spiderman- Yeah. I don't think there's anything here for King Pin or anyone else. I think we should just keep our eyes open for a few days for anything strange.

Silk- That sounds good.

Spiderman- Plus we need to get ready for school tomorrow, otherwise we'll still be laid out in the morning. Hopefully Tanner's idea will keep us on the good side of the people.

Silk- Yeah, we need to do that, cause I'm getting sleepy. I hope so.

Spiderman- I am too. I hope so too. Let's go get changed and head home. We'll deal with anything that happens tomorrow.

Silk- Sounds good

She starts to walk to the alley they got changed in, and Spiderman follows her.

Spiderman- Oh yeah.

Theyy get to the alley and start to change. When Anna finishes changing, she checks her phone.

Anna- Oh, Tanner called me. He left me a voicemail.

She smiles.

Anna- He probably wanted to tell me about meeting us.

Peter finishes changing.

Peter- Oh yeah. I mean, he did say we were heros, and we gave him a picture of us. He's probably happpily asleep right now.

Anna- I hope so. I'll listen to the voicemail and text him when I get home.

Peter- I'm sure he is. He'll probably wake up in the morning and be excited about tonight. Did anything seem weird about him?

Anna- Probably

She shakes her head.

Anna- Nope. He seemed fine to me.

Peter- Okay good. Just checking since he said that him and Eddie were there when the meteor landed.

Anna- That's true.

Peter- Oh yeah. I guess I'll see you and Tanner tomorrow at school, and once again, good job Silk.

He gives her a thumbs up as he starts to head home. Anna laughs and starts to walk home as well.

Anna- Go home Spiderman. I'll see you tomorrow.

Peter laughs.

Peter- Okay Silk.

He walks home. Anna gets home, sits down, and listens to the voicemail. She giggles.

Anna- I guess you were excited about meeting Silk babe.

Peter gets home and quickly falls asleep with the feeling of something was in the meteor. Anna texts Tanner I love you and falls asleep on the couch.

The next morning as Anna, Mary Jane, and Gwen Stacy were walking around, they had been hearing all about Spiderman and Silk stopping crimes around the city, but as they were walking through the halls, they noticed Flash Thompson, the school bully, piking on Peter like he usually did with the other kids around him. But right as Flash was about to hit Peter, Mary Jane, Gwen, and Anna stepped in, but then they heard someone yell to Flash.

Voice- Hey Flash

Flash- Hmm?

Anna, thinking to herself- Who was that?

As the kids move aside, Tanner is now standing in front of Flash.

Tanner- Why don't you pick on someone your own size Flash?

Flash- Oh, like you? You're only like chest height to me, plus this doesn't involve you.

Tanner- It did when you picked on Peter.

Anna- Babe, you're gonna get hurt.

Flash- You should listen to your girlfriend T.

Tanner, to Anna- Baby, I'll be fine
   To Flash- And you don't call me T. Only my friends call me that.

Anna- Babe please.

Flash- Last chance T

Tanner, to Anna- Baby, I'll be fine.
   To Flash- And I said. Don't. Call. Me. T.

Voice, in Tanner's head- Someone is taking care of their friends

Anna- Babe

Tanner- Yes baby?

He keeps an eye on Flash.

Anna- Don't do this babe.

Tanner- Baby, I'm gonna do this. I'm not gonna let hm pick on Pete.

Anna- I don't want you to get hurt though.

Tanner- Trust me baby, I won't get hurt.

Flash tries to punch at Tanner.

Voice, in Tanner's head- Watch out!

Anna pushes Tanner out of the way and takes the punch. Tanner catches her so she doesn't fall down.

Tanner- Anna?!

She gently takes his hands off her, kisses his cheek, walks up to Flash, and punches him just as hard then kicks him in the balls.

Anna- Don't mess with my friends or my boyfriend again, got it?

Flash tries to catch his breath and tries to hit her again. Tanner catches his fist.

Tanner- Now you've crossed the line.

He hits Flash square in the face hard enough to send him flying backwards.

Voice, in Tanner's head- Now that is the power we have.
Anna- Damn babe

Tanner- Told you I wouldn't have gotten hurt.

He gently kisses her cheek where she got hit.

Anna- You would've if I didn't take that punch.

Tanner- I would've been fine. You didn't have to take the punch. After all, I've gottne hit by worse.

Anna- By who?

Tanner whispers in her ear.

Tanner- A few thugs got a couple of hits in me before Silk saved me. I was perfectly fine within seconds.

Anna, to herself- Oh yeah, that's right.
   To Tanner- What? Why didn't you say anything babe?

Tanner- Cause I knew it would worry you. Plus, I knew that if I had said anything, no one would try to hit me cause I had already been hit by worse.

Anna- But what if you had been stabbed? Am I supposed to just not worry? I'm your girlfriend babe, it's part of my job.

Tanner- They didn't have knives. I could tell. If they had, I wouldn't be standing here. I know baby, but I'm fine, I don't have any internal damages.

Anna huffs and has a worried look on her face.

Tanner- I'm okay baby. I promise.

She still has a worried look on her face. Tanner sees everyone else start to head out.

Tanner- You wanna examine me and see if I'm okay?

She nods. Tanner sees everyone is out of sight.

Tanner- Aight, you can examine wherever you like baby.
