Prologue
"Is it time my lord?" asked the archangel Michael. "Yes, it has begun my son." replied God. "Gather the forces and spread the word. We must not allow Satan to break out of Hell. Now off with you Michael. I must begin preparations for our new friends." "Yes my lord." Michael says as he rushes out of the room. God moves to a spot in the room and looks out over Heaven. There's billions of gold and silver houses and gathering spots from every time period from the ancient Greeks to the present. There will be many more now, he thinks. Outside, Michael is ordering the Heaven forces to prepare for combat. May luck be with us all, God thinks to himself. In less then twenty-four hours, there would be another six and a half billion people.
Chapter 1
Saturday, May 21,2011.The day it all started. It was just a normal day, up until 6:00pm.They were calling for the rapture to begin on this day, but like everybody else, I thought it was just a fake again. There had been a number of false alarms before. If only this was one of them. I'm 14 and the best sharpshooter in my family. I'm also an atheist. My family and I were on our way home from our family reunion. It was raining in torrents and lightning struck every five seconds. The worst storm in the history of our area. We had gotten almost back to the house when the news reporter on the radio said to get inside and find cover. I looked out of my window and said "Holy shit, look outside. There's people floating up into the sky." When nobody answered me, I looked back to the front seat: nobody was there. I got out of the car and ran around it twice. I found no trace of them anywhere. I looked up in the sky, and felt my jaw drop. There they were, floating up. My parents were looking up like me, and didn't seem to remember me. They were trapped inside a bright light. Then the light cut off and they were gone. I got inside, turned the car back on and drove as fast as I could back to my house. When I returned to my home, I found it was empty also. "Where is everybody!!!!" I screamed . I walked to the television and flip it on. Every station is showing the same thing: shots from around the world of people floating up. Then the new reporter cuts in and announces that Christ will be appearing at the local civic center.
Chapter 2
The day of meeting came in a flurry of activity. The night before, I gathered every piece of clothes, weapons, arrows and ammo I had in the back of my dad's 2011 Ford truck. I then made the 30 minute trip to the civic center. There was to much of a crowd and I couldn't get in. I started to make the trip back when I saw these strange creatures coming up from the ground. They were small when they first appeared but began to grow until they were over 12 feet long. I quickly stopped and got my Hunting Rifle. I knew from basic creatures to aim for the head. I took aim, shot one in the neck and watched the bullet go straight through the other side. Then, to my utter amazement, watched the hole heal before my eye's. I then saw a slight jumping motion where it's lungs would have been. I shoot in that spot and watched the creature wither into nothing. With a pain stingingly loud roar, all hell broke lose. Two dozen of the creatures broke the surface at once. I knew I couldn't fight them all, so I got back into my truck and was about to drive off when they caught up to me. A bright light suddenly appeared. When it had vanished, I saw a man in front of me, facing the creatures. However, he did not seem to want to harm me. It was almost as if he was protecting me. It slowly dawned on me. I was wondering why I was so intimidated by him. "You're Christ, aren't you?" This new stranger didn't reply but instead took a long, gold and silver sword from his belt. "You shall be gone Hell spawn and never return." The creatures all stared at the man like he was crazy. They swarmed and attacked him. I thought he was as good as dead, but within seconds the creatures were nothing more then lump's on the ground. My face quickly changed into one of surprise "How did you-" my voice cut out as I see people walking towards us. As they got closer ,however, I notice they weren't people. They were about 7 foot tall and weighed down by amour. They all had swords drawn and pointed at the ground. They also had halo's. They had a kind of chaotic air around them, as if they were as confused as me. The strange man turns around and the angels all snap to attention. "You must dispose of these trackers. The rest of their army will follow them. Set them far away from here." he ordered. "Yes sir!" all the angels roar. They began to move towards the bodies, when one of them finally noticed me. He quickly shouted to the others and they took me by the arms, pulling me away from my truck. "Sir, we have a human survivor." I finally got a good look at the man. He has short brown hair, green eyes, and a air of confidence about him. "Well now, let me get a good look at him." He walked around me, studying me. "I remember you now. You were here when the trackers first appeared." "Those what?" I ask. "Tracker's, they are used as scouts and path layer's. There's a special spot in their back that allows other trackers to track them, hence the name." he told me. "Well, since you know everything about them, where did they come from?" I ask. "You know nothing about what's happening my boy. The rapture has occurred, which means this is where we will defeat the anti-Christ. We will drive Satan back to hell where he belongs and make sure he stays there!" I heard something howl in the distance and when I look back, their all gone. Nothing remained but foot prints.
