DRACO'S POV

"Okay Draco, you can do this" I mumbled to myself; softly placing the bird inside the cabinet. It's getting closer to the end of the year and I haven't even finished it yet; I've tried to take care of Dumbledore in a couple different ways which all failed. First, I tried to curse him with the Necklace but Bell ended up taking the hit, next was the champagne that was supposed to be given to him but Weasley ended up drinking it first.

If Luna knew she would kill me.

I stepped back and waved my wand; watching the cabinet light up from the inside before it dimmed back down.

Now, it was time. If all my planning and time has paid off; I was very nervous. I didn't know what state the bird was in; it could be fine but it could also be injured; I wasn't sure. I stepped closer and grabbed onto the handle; stopping. I was hesitant; I was very nervous to find out what was on the other side.

I gulped and tightened my grip on the handle; turning it and opening it back up. To my relief but also my horror I saw the bird completely fine; it chirped and flew off; there was nothing wrong with it.

I'm happy that the bird is fine; but now I'll have to tell father that the cabinet is ready. I don't think I was ready for this; after they come through this door it's over for me. Everyone will know who's side I'm on (or who's side I'm forced to be on). How was everyone going to think? I knew my friends didn't care because they were on the same side.

But what about Luna? How is she going to feel knowing that everything that everyone said about me was true. She won't want to be my friend anymore; let alone any kind of relationship. I was relived because I was going to live another day but now I have put people who I care about in danger.

I'm have a huge dilemma.

LUNA'S POV

"Have you seen Draco today?" Cho shook her head; her mouth full of stew.

"Now I haven't; in fact the last time I saw him was at dinner time yesterday" I hummed and nodded; that's the last time I saw him too.

"I wonder if they know where he is" I looked at his friends from the other table; they didn't look worried at all.

"They don't seem to be concerned at the fact that they're missing a person" I nodded; agreeing. In fact the only one who looked a little worried was Blaise; Parkinson, Crabbe and Goyle were as happy as could be.

"Should I ask them?" Cho looked at me like I was crazy,

"Luna now that Draco isn't sitting there, there isn't anyone stopping them from doing anything to you" I shrugged; I understood her concern but my curiosity was getting the better of me.

I got up from my seat and made my way over to Blaise,

"What are you doing here Loony?" I ignored Parkinson and sat down next to Blaise,

"Where's Draco?" Blaise shrugged as he took a sip of his drink; I knew he was lying.

"Don't lie to me Blaise" I said sternly; he locked eyes with me and sighed.

"Luna, Draco's fine you shouldn't worry about him" I raised a brow,

"Well if there was nothing to worry about than you wouldn't have a problem telling me where he is?"

"Maybe you should keep your big nose out of other people's business" I looked over at Parkinson and frowned,

"You should talk Parkinson look at what you're doing right now! What a hypocrite" her jaw dropped; I had never said anything back before. I always just ignored her and continued on with my day; well school was almost over and I was getting fed up.
