You had just gotten the news back from your mom that your cat got hit by car. You were so upset. That cat was your everything. She was always there when you needed someone to talk to, and whenever you needed a good laugh. You didn't know what to do.
The only thing you could think of was to run to your friends house.
You ran almost a mile there, tears threatening your eyes. You felt so hurt.
Once you got there, you banged on the door.
"Yoongi!", you cried. You heard Yoongi running through his house. The floors have always been quite creaky at his house.
The door swung open, "Y/N! What's wrong!"
"My cat died!", you yelled.
Yoongi knew how much your cat meant to you. He instantly took you by the head and placed it on his chest, "It's okay, Y/N, I'm here for you."
The warmth of his chest comforted you, his black jumper to the smell of his cologne that he layers on himself every morning. You've loved him for a long time, but you knew you could never have someone as good as him.
Yoongi stroked the back of your head, gently pulling on strands of your hair.
"Let's go inside." He whispered.
He took your hand and walked you down the hall to the lounge room. He sat you on the couch.
You looked into his deep brown eyes. You always got lost in them. "Do you want a drink? A blanket? A-".
You cut him off.
"No...Could you stay?" You asked.
"Anything for you, Y/N."
You sat while he held you in his arms for what seemed like hours but only turned out to be minutes. The time seemed to stop as he hummed a tune above your head. Suddenly, he stopped. Yoongi sat up to face you.
"I'll be your cat," He smiled, "I'll be your cat forever."
He just stared into your eyes for a long moment causing you to blush. You put your hands over your cheeks trying to hide it. Yoongi pulled your wrists down.
"Don't hide your face, it's beautiful." He whispered.
He took your face in his hands and pulled you closer. He placed his soft lips against yours.
He pulled away, looking at you with love before going back in for a longer kiss. You wished this moment could last forever.
"I love you, Y/N," He said next to your lips.
"I love you to, kitten."
