Kraze; Kraze’s real colour

          “Bye everyone...don’t come back until a long time.” I of course whispered the last part under my breath. I had a headache from partying so long and my contacts were really starting to bug me. Even after wearing them for six years they still made my eyes go dry. You’d think I’d be used to them by now, but no. Rubbing my forehead with the palm of my hand, maybe I should think twice about how hard I party and how much I drink next time. In fact maybe I should stop partying so hard altogether. 

            Nah I was too much of a party whore to do that. Opening my bathroom door I stood before the mirror and opened it to take out the case for my contacts and the solution. And some eye drops, to get rid of the dryness and red lines that were creeping into the whites of my eyes. 

            Lifting up the right eye’s top eyelid with my middle finger and pulling down the bottom lid with my thumb I moved in my index finger to drag the red contact to the edge of my eye and then brought up my thumb to pinch the contact and bring it out. Smiling with satisfaction and my right eye feeling relief I looked up into my mirror to see my bathroom door somewhat open, had I forgotten to close it? Moving to get my left eye I saw something in the mirror. Squinting at the mirror I saw it again, something glinting in what was open of the door. Forgetting about my left eye I turned around and opened the door fully. There on their knees with their eyes glinting was no other than John.

            “They’re brown!” John cried, he then got up and started dancing as if he had won something. “I found out what colour Kraze’s eyes are! The mystery is over!” I scratched my head and then just stared at him like he was a freak. I mean the dude was cool and was dating the girl I used to love, but this was just strange. In all of my life I would have never expected out of all the people I knew, for John to act like this.

            “Dude what the fck?” I said, John then stopped and looked at me. He blushed somewhat.

            “Um nothing, I’ll be taking my leave now...” John said, I stepped out of the bathroom and watched him head towards the front door.

            “Yeah. You do that.” I told him, he opened the front door and then closed it behind him, me? I still stood there scratching my head before shaking my head and closing the bathroom door and going back to the mirror to finish taking out my contacts. The world was a strange place with strange people, what else could I say?
