The music in the speakers makes my ears rumble. I moved away the huge curtain, looking at the stage, noticing that everything is going very well. I smiled at the sight of the acrobats doing their job, up, on the long rope that passed from one end of the tent to the other.

I looked at the lights above, then leaving the tent, and enter in another one, which was only a few meters away.

There, at a table, I saw two captains, talking to each other.

...:-Boss, you're back! said one of them.

Me:-Yes, I'm here, Tsukitachi!

I chuckled, and then I turned to look at the other captain.

Me:-Hirato, we need to talk something.

He got up from his chair and I left the tent.

Me:-I don't know if we will fit in the time.

Hirato:-Meaning?

Me:-There was a technical problem, short-circuiting some wires. I called for someone to fix it quickly, but I'm not sure the lights will last until the end of the show. Fortunately, those in the main tent were not affected. But I noticed that they won't last longer, either.

He didn't said anything for a few moments, then broke the silence.

Hirato:-I'll take care of it.

Heading to the tent where the show was taking place, he entered. I followed him, so I could see what he was going to do. He took a microphone and went to the middle of the stage.

Hirato:-I'm sorry to announce you all, but there was a technical problem. We, the ones from the Circus organization, will end the show here. As a payback, tomorrow, which is Sunday, we will resume the today show. We apologize, but neither did we expect this to happen.

The lights in the room went out, people getting out of the tent one by one.

Hirato returned to me, and I told him to tell the acrobats to come to the captain's tent.

Going outside, I noticed a lot of people, as they leave, with their heads bowed. I looked sadly at them, but unfortunately it wasn't our fault.

I entered the captain's tent, being accompanied by Hirato. Not long after, those who performed the circus numbers, showed up.

...:-What does this mean, Hirato? said one of the acrobats, angry.

Hirato: -We will explain immediately, everyone should come, first.

We waited a little after a few people, and then I began to explain.

Me:-There was a circuit at some wires, which apparently were the ones from the reflectors. I quickly called someone to fix it, but they won't last long. I couldn't risk the lights going out during the show. Because they could spit out sparks that could reach people.

Tsukitachi:-And what about the show? We can't postpone it, because people are still scared of what happened this week.

Hirato:-I announced that we will resume the show tomorrow.

Me:-So, we need new reflectors until tomorrow.

Another person entered the door of the tent, being the plumber himself.

...:-I'm sorry to interrupt you, but I have something to say. I'm the one who tied the wires and I want to tell you that I noticed something. Those threads didn't break on their own. They were cut.

Well, this is my first story written on this account. It's translated, from my Romanian account.

I hope you can all understand what I typed, as I mentioned before, English is not my natal language, so the story might have some grammar mistakes.

I hope you will all enjoy! :)
