I lay my head on the cool, static looking desk. I zoned out on the teachers voice but left my eyes open. My eyes began to get heavy, I was almost asleep when 'BANG'. My head shot up to the owner of the sound and in front of the classroom was a boy looking about my age with red fiery hair and oceanic eyes at the door. His hair and eyes counteracting with each other, trying to win the battle of which one would show the most. He took long strides until he was in front of the teacher. He whispered something to the teacher and she nods her head. He turns around and looks towards the class. I avert his oceanic orbs and put my head down. He clears his throat.
" Hi, my name is Eric. I was forced into this school. I dont like it here and I certainly dont like any of you. So if for some reason you want to be my friend, forget about it." He looks around the classroom looking for an empty seat until it lands on the seat next to me. I pray to whatever is out there that he won't sit next to me. I don't need another one of those annoying kids around me. But it seems as though that my prayer was shot down. I felt a presence next to me and tried my hardest to curl into a ball and disappear. I lifted my head to see the teachers shocked face. She would usually scold a kid for doing that but i'm guessing that she takes pity on the new kid. I look over to the new kid to see that he's on his phone, oh how typical this guy is. He's like every single other student in here, looking for attention and never doing they're work. I lay my head back onto the desk and open my ears to listen to whatever the teacher was saying.
School seemed to go slower then usual but when the bell rang I was running out the school doors faster than that road runner in looney toons. I wasn't looking where I was going because I bumped straight into someone. I began to fall backwards when someone wrapped their arms around me. I looked up to see it was that kid from class earlier. He unwrapped his arms from my waist, but made sure that I stood up straight.
"I-Im s-sorry for b-bu-bumping into you." I put my head down realising that I had just stuttered half a sentence to this kid.
"Im sorry but did you stutter." I looked up to see that there was a smirk on his face. His mouth was covered by his hands and his shoulders were shaking. He was trying his hardest not laugh at me but I know that everyone laughs at this. I think the only person that hasn't laughed at me was my friend Robin. He stood by my side even when people were bullying me.
"Y-y-yeah." I felt tears come up to my eyes but I wiped them away. I didn't need him to see me cry it would just give him more ammo like the rest of them.

FLASHBACK DECEMBER 12TH FRESHMEN YEAR

"S-st-stop l-l-laugh-lau-laugh" I gave up on my sentence. I know they didn't care, they were just gonna laugh and watch me cry. I knew this would happen, it happens at all my schools.
"Really? You're crying." A tall blonde girl walked up to me. "Just because were making a little fun of you. God why don't you get some sense of humor." I felt like screaming my lungs out. I wanted to tell them that this wasn't funny. But how? I stuttered they wouldn't take me serious they never would.

"What? Are you going to stay silent like a mouse? I think that could be your new name Macey, mouse. It just fits you perfectly." After that there was this shine in her eyes. It looked so evil and terrifying. I should of ran but my feet were glued to the floor. I couldn't move, I was like stone. "You know what we do to pests like you?" I looked up at her but I didn't see the right hook she was sending my way. A pain surged through my whole entire left cheek. "WE KILL THEM!" She screamed my ears began to hurt with the screech she let out. I feel to the ground begging for someone to help. Then began to feel multiple feet kick at my body. I knew that no one was coming to help.

There were punches that were aimed at my ribs, my head, and my legs. After what had felt like forever it stopped. A couple of more hurtful words were said then I was left alone. No one came. When I finally got the strength I walked to the hospital. When I got there they asked what had happened, I just said "I was jumped by some gang." I had 4 broken ribs,my right leg was broken, some head injuries, and I was bleeding internally.

FLASHBACK OVER

For some unknow reason I survived. But after that day I was constantly bullied. Nobody would be nice to me except for Robin. He was probably the only person I could trust. Even in class the teachers would look at me as if I was a pest.

I felt a tear stroll down my cheek. It was then that I knew that I gave him ammo. "Yeah, I know im crying, im pathetic and weak. Go on and make fun of me if you want. I dont care anymore." I kept my head down waiting for him to yell at me and scream at me saying how pathetic I am. But it didn't come. But a pair of arms wrapped around me holding me close. And for some odd reason I found myself wrapping my arms around him.

"Its ok...its ok." He cooed. It took a while until the tears stopped running down my face. I breathed in and out. I finally calmed down, but I was beginning to get light headed. I sat down on the cold school floors, rethinking everything. I began to wonder if everything I had thought about the school population was wrong. I began to go deep into thought and wondered if I should rethink this whole 'everyones bad, no matter what' thing.

I got up from the floor and dusted myself off. These floors weren't the most sanitary thing on earth.
"Thanks."
"Uhh no problem, I didnt mean to laugh about your stuttering. I just thought you were shy." I nodded my head understanding him. "If you want we can get coffee, you know to calm down your nerves."
" I don't like coffee."His face fell, but then it was back in place.
"Well not all cafes sell coffee."
"Yeah, lets go."
We walked to his car and drove to the Cafe. The cafe had a sign saying 'the coffee hole' It had a little bunny that looked similar to the one in alice in wonderland. We entered the Cafe and immediately I was star struck by the look. It was alice and wonderland themed. It was more like a restaurant but everyone there was either reading a book or taking a sip of coffee. It was dim but it still had this certain type of life to it. The tiles were black and white, and the seats were an exact replica of the way the ones in alice and wonderland looked. We ordered our drinks. He got coffee and I got tea, we sat down at a table that wasn't a replica but small enough for two. Our mugs were white and said 'drink me' on them and purple swirling vines wrapped around it. They had a yellow rim around them and they came with a stirring stick that was themed as the cheshire cat in alice and wonderland. We drank our drinks and talked for what seemed like forever, and the whole entire time I didnt stutter a word to him.
