I didn’t want to go. I had a hand on my shoulder, directing me around the horses, which I was dragged off of by a man by the name of and he was the one, who was pushing me along, forcing me along behind my brother, who had not even looked at me since he had loaded me up, onto that ugly horse, with the scar across his nose.
I frowned a bit and jerked away from Fear when he tried shoving me forward once more.
“Don’t you dare touch me,” I hissed and stepped backwards, but that wasn’t enough to scare him off.
I guess I wasn’t very fearful against the man named Fear.
He stepped forward, grabbing my shoulder, once more and forcing me against the wall, of the cobble stone castle, which housed the beautiful, northern family. I closed my eyes and I felt my back being forced harder against the wall. I winced and tried fighting back, but all my attacks were nothing compared to the quick slap I received when I hissed a few expletives at him.
“I don’t want my princess roughed up, sir,” someone with a much more different accent than my brother’s, came from the castle doors and a small chuckle escaped the lips of the man, who soon revealed himself to both me and Fear.
Fear looked into the man’s eyes then backed off.
The guy who had stood up for me was an older man, with strong features. He had a thick, greying beard and his hair matched it, as well. He was dressed warmly and soon shrugged off his cloak and wrapped it around my shaking shoulders.
“I will take her from here. I do not want to see the likes of you, in my castle. I will have your hands removed if you stepped through my gates,” he hissed then directed me away from Fear and through the gates, gently.
I was lead along towards the front doors of the castle and when we entered I was taken back by the pure stock of how beautiful the castle inside was. There was animals proudly displayed on the walls and different types of beautiful paintings and other different objects that showed the Wolf family’s history. It was simple, but yet, amazing. I could not believe that I was here.
I was directed along the long corridors into a large throne room where there sat a beautiful prince, he looked exactly like his father, but a younger version and less facial hair. He was strong looking. There was another woman there. She had long, dark hair and golden eyes. The whole wolf family had gold eyes, but hers were filled with cunning and there was something deadly about them. I wouldn’t want to upset her.
The boy pushed his body from the wooden throne and stepped towards me.
My body tensed, but I felt someone’s hand on my back. It was the King’s hand, pushing me towards the Prince. I held a breath as he embraced me and my brother, who chuckled as he entered the room, soon ruined this nice, embracing silence.
“My precious sister, you fit in perfectly,” he purred softly, walking over to me, stroking my hair, but the prince pulled me away, glaring at Jamie.
“Don’t touch her,” he murmured, “she isn’t precious to you, if you’re just giving her up.” He was going to take good care of me, since my brother didn’t much care for me.
“Oh, Northern Prince, you have no idea how much I love my sister. She is what is going to bring this country peace,” he spoke in a very low voice, as if he was trying to be intimidating, but nothing was working.
“King Jamie, I think you may need to leave,” the Northern King, Micheal’s father, had spoken out. He was the man, who had saved me from Fear, outside of the castle. His name was Robert. He had a husky voice and looked out for his people and his people only.
My brother looked offended, but I just turned away. I felt like I was betraying my people, of the South, but they betrayed me. I was doing no wrong here.
He was there, for a brief moment then Fear approached from behind and the guards around the room raised their hands going towards their swords. Fear wasn’t supposed to be there. He was disobeying the King’s orders of not entering the castle.
I stepped backwards, glaring at the large man, who was just getting his King and directing him to leave. Fear and I made eye contact just before he left. The large man muttered something and it hit my ear just so that I wanted to know what he said, but I could not make it out.
He was the sneaky bastard son of my father’s guardsmen and needed to fall off the face of the earth and never bother me again. I would make sure of that, one day. He would fear me.
