Chapter 1

Neku sighed, walking the streets of Shibuya. It was surprisingly quiet; the cause probably being how him and Joshua defeated most of the noise. He was wondering how Joshua was doing, as he seemed a little distraught the past few days. He's asked him why before, but Joshua passed it off as nothing. He huffed, being quite tired.

He trudged back to his and Joshua's apartment, hastily unlocking the door already to see his white haired boyfriend sprawled out on the floor. "Hey, Josh" Neku called out, closing the door behind him and sitting on the floor. Joshua crawled over to Neku, laying in his lap. "Hm? What's wrong?" Neku asked with a concerned tone. Joshua just shook his head, curling up in his lap and resting his head on Neku's knee. He didn't know what to do, so he just ran his fingers through Josh's soft hair.

Other than a slight glow from the television, there wasn't much light in the room. A bit later, Neku picked Joshua up and carried him to bed, pulling the blankets over the other male. He was about to leave when a slight grab at his hand caught his attention, turning his head towards the motion, only to see Joshua's beautiful purple eyes staring at him. "Stay..." Joshua mumbled, pulling Neku over slightly, earning a sigh from the orange haired boy. Neku nodded, taking off his headphones and laying down beside him. "What's wrong?" He asked, turning to face Joshua. "...Nothing" Joshua responded, pursing his lips slightly.

"Please... talk to me Josh" Neku pleaded, gently placing his hand under the male's cheek, wiping away some tears that started falling. Neku had absolutely no idea what to do, and all he wanted was for Joshua to open up to him for once; he was worried. "I'm fine, really" Joshua forced a shaky smile, not noticing the stray tears that were rolling down his face.

Neku huffed, he'll get Joshua to open up someday. "Just go to sleep, idiot" He teased, making Joshua bury his face in Neku's chest. This will do for now, he guessed; wrapping his arms around him and falling asleep.
