TYRA STEPPED OUT of the rental car that Robert had picked up. She looked back at the car as her father climbed out heading to the other side where she stood. He pulled her into a side hug, while Tyra sent him a small smile. She was happy to have them all here. She knew she wouldn't have been able to see her mother's grave alone.
"Thank you again for doing this." Tyra told everyone as she looked out towards the grave. Lacey and Tom smiled at their friend, followed by Robert and Josh.
"If it's alright with you guys I'd like a few minutes alone. I want to be alone." Tyra said looking back towards everyone.
They each nodded allowing her to walk toward her mother's grave. She passed by other gravestones looking at the names that rested on each stone. Finally she came to her mother's stone. She then sat down on the ground looking at her mother's name.
"It's been seven years since you passed, and a lot has changed. I wish you were still here. It would have been really awesome if you had met my two best friends. You'd love them, and you would love Robert. He loves to act like my pretend father. Sometimes he can be overly protective but I don't mind it. It's nice." Tyra spoke looking down at the grass. "There is a boy, I like but the situation is very complicated. I just don't know what to do." Tyra added, still looking at the grass.
"I think you should tell him how you feel." Josh spoke walking up behind her daughter.
Tyra didn't bother to look at her father who sat down next to her. He pulled her close to him as he looked down at the stone.
"I did tell him how I feel, but he didn't tell me he felt the same way which really sucks. We spent months talking to each other over social media, than we met and I couldn't seem to get him off my mind. I still can't, but everyone thinks that I'm ruining the relationship between him and Liza." Tyra explained. She caught her breath, turning to face her father. "I want us to be something more than friends, but I don't know if I can handle the hate. His fans love him and Liza together, and if they come out to the public saying that they broke up the fans will think it was all my fault. But, I didn't find out until a few months into our friendship." Tyra continued to explain.
She wanted nothing more than to be with David because she did love him, but she really didn't know if she could handle David and Liza's fans. She even considered Liza a friend, but she wasn't sure if she would be okay with everything she was feeling for David.
"Sometimes we have to do the things we think will impact our relationships. It doesn't matter if it's good or bad, but there are people out there who will understand what happened. I'm sure when David and Liza do something they'll tell everyone not to blame you for their break up, because it wasn't your fault and that's the truth." Josh told her pulling her into a tighter hug.
Tyra hugged her father back, a smile resting on her face. Not long after she had hugged her father she felt other arms wrap around the two of them.
"Thank you guys for coming to PA, with me." Tyra said breaking the silence.
"We just couldn't let you go alone." Robert replied, Tyra lowered her head as a few stands of tears fell down her face.
Everyone she loved more than time was here in this moment with her and that included her mother, even if she was with them in spirit.
