Have you ever stopped to listen to what the world had to say? Have you ever stopped to sit down to watch the world show you its creations? The world is a crazy place. Zorhy thought so. To her, every day was a beautiful day outside. The birds would sing. The flowers would bloom. But on days like these, people like her.....what does she do?
Zorhy is a young fox. About eighteen years old, and very adventurous. When she had spare time in school, she would take walks in the large forest behind her school. It was like a jungle in there! Not only would she take walks there for fun, but to mostly run away or clear her mind.
Zorhy lives on the surface where humans and monsters live in peace. Or rather, live together instead. Humans don't get along with monsters, and zorhy is the perfect target to be picked on mainly because she is a pacifist and refuses to defend herself.
She goes to a human and monster school, but only she and three other students are monsters. Everyone else is human. Normally, if a human is bullying her, she'll run towards the forest to get away. You'd be surprised to know how the trees are such good listeners. So are the forest critters. Zorhy could scream and cry as loud as she wants, but no one would hear.
Today she was ambushed by a group of human boys. The leader, Jason, was a brute. He was tall and all muscle. Zorhy was weak, frail, and very short. Jason shoved her onto the hard concrete floor, and the entire crew started to kick or punch her. They hooted with laughter when she started crying. Quickly, she got up and limped towards the forest. The crew chased her, but she was able to lose them through the maze of brambles, vines, and trees. Zorhy sighed with relief. Slowly, she limped towards a clearing in the forest. When she entered the clearing, she heard a gasp and some sort of 'vibrating' noise. But when she looked around, no one was there. But something caught her eye. Zorhy walked over and picked up an object on the ground. It was a slipper. a pink slipper...?
