My Poetry

You'll never see me frown

I tried to be subtle,
I never received a cuddle.
When I told you what was wrong,
You just moved on.
You say that I've changed,
And look at me like I'm deranged.

You see the problem is you,
It's everything you do.
You took everything from me,
Then talked about how I was angry.
You told so many lies,
And not once did you apologise.

There are so many promises you broke,
And sometimes I wish you'd just choke.
But I know I'm better than this,
And I know you're someone I won't miss.
I'm gonna make my life as good as I can,
Because you're just a horrible man.
I won't let you bring me down
And you'll never see me frown.
