Haley Maslen has known Scott and Stiles since preschool. She was the odd girl, the one who always hung out with the guys--and at that the weird ones. She's never been popular or anything, she's never cared about reputations or cliques. She was the opposite of Lydia Martin, the "it" girl of the school--everyone loves Lydia, not everyone loves Haley.
Haley, Scott, and Stiles have been getting into trouble since they met. They've always been the trouble makers, pot stirrers, whatever you'd like to call them. One night, though, they find themselves in the middle of the woods, looking for half a dead body Stiles claims will be awesome. But when Scott gets bit by...something, they find themselves in entirely too deep. Will they find out a way to make all this craziness fit into their normal lives? What is Haley going to do when she starts feeling things she never imagined--for her best friend of all people?
