The world has long been divided into two dimensions: the living world and the magic world, home to the people whom the living thought as fictional and where the so-called "wizardry" exists.
For centuries, the two dimensions exist, and many who are blessed trespassed through the two dimensions. Yet ironically, and the ordinary humans know almost nothing about the existence of their neighboring dimension.
But that is to be expected. In the very first place, the two dimensions have never even coexisted, and that is necessary.
Despite knowing the existence and the truth of the magic world, the "blessed" humans who have ever set their foot upon this land keep the truth to themselves, acting as if they know nothing about another dimension.
The reason isn't that they forget everything once they leave the dimension, but due to the "law" made by "something" which exists between the two dimensions.
A place or an entity - no one knows truly what it is. But what they know is the fact that they will be disobeying the law itself by the time they tell the secrets to the living, which will lead to their demise.
Death, as to say.
That "something" itself is never asleep. It watches over both the dead and the living, and by the time a law is broken, the law-breakers are bound to lose their lives.
