I graduated from college few years ago. Today, Juliana is finally getting married with Chase. Chase finally made his move and asked Juliana to marry him. I'm helping Juliana prepare for her walk down the aisle.
"Can't you believe it? I'm finally getting married! God, I'm so nervous!" Juliana said as she put her dress on.
"It's okay to be nervous! They way you two acted towards each other in high school, everyone knew you two would end up getting married sooner or later." I smirked as I replied.
"Ha Ha, very funny," She said sarcastically, "I knew you were in love with Derek since the beginning, it took you long enough to admit it." she smirked as she walked out of the changing room.
"Shut up! And wow... you look so perfect!"
My sister looked so stunning in that wedding dress. I wonder if I could ever pull that off.
"Thanks!" My sister replied with a smile as she twirled around. Our mother and father walked in and smiled, "You look so beautiful, sweetie!" My mother said.
"Thanks, mom!" Juliana said with a big smile.
"Are you ready Juliana?" My father asked.
"... Yes." Juliana replied with a deep breath. My mother and I walked out of the room and walked into the main part of the church. I went over to the altar and stood at my spot, I was Juliana's maid of honor. I looked over to where Chase was standing, and right where he was, Derek was right behind him. Derek saw me looking over to where he was, so he smiled at me, and the music began.
Juliana walked down the aisle with our father and had her eyes focused on Chase's. The way they looked at each other, you could tell they were in love. They were destined to be together. They were just such a perfect couple.
When the ceremony and everything was finished, Juliana and Chase held a wedding reception. Derek and I walked up to Juliana and Chase and gave them both a big hug.
"Congratulations!" I said
"Congrats, Chase!" Derek said smiling to his best friend.
"Thank you!" they both said in unison with a big smile.Derek and I walked to our table.
"Did I tell you that you look beautiful today?" Derek said as we sat down.
"No, you haven't actually. I would love to hear it." I smirked as I replied.
"You're such a butt!" he whined.
"Aren't I always?"
"Well, you're beautiful."
"Aww, I knew that already." I said sarcastically as I smirked.
"Stop trying to be a funny child."
"WHAT?!?!?!? I AM NOT A CHILD! I AM A WOMEN!" I said loudly.
"Right... sure you are..."
"What did you say?" I asked as I raised my right eyebrow.
"Nothing!" he said looking scared.
"I thought so." I said smirking."Girls! It's time for the bouquet toss!" Juliana announced excitedly.
All the girls lined up.
"I hope I catch it!" Layla said out loud.
"No! Never!" Kaitlyn said.
"Be quiet, girls!" My mother yelled.
"Ready?," Juliana asked as she got ready to toss the bouquet of flowers backwards, "In 3, 2, 1... and GO!"
She throws the bouquet of flower, and as it flies in the air, Layla and Kaitlyn are fighting over who is going to catch it. Next thing you know, I have the bouquet in my hand. Surprising right? I don't even know how I ended up catching it. It's like it landed in my hands.
"Ooh, good job Elise!" Juliana said, smiling.
"Thanks... I don't even know how I manage to catch it." I replied.Few moments later, Derek walks over to both Juliana and I.
"Well, nice catch there, babe." Derek said as he smirked.
"Was that supposed to be a baseball joke?" I asked sarcastically.
"Maybe, or maybe not.
"Well it was a bad joke, I didn't even laugh."
"Ha ha, very funny," he replied sarcastically, "I thought my joke was very impressive."
"No, you're just crazy."
"No, maybe you're just crazy for not laughing.
"No, maybe you're just crazy bad a jokes."
"Whatever, I know my joke was very good."
"Whatever you say.."Few months after Juliana's wedding, Derek and I taking a long walk on the beach as the sun sets. He suddenly stops and turns to me. He looks me in the eyes and said, "Remember when I said I wanted to be with you forever? I meant it. I want to be with you forever, so," he started to kneel down into the sand and said,
"Will you marry me, Elise?"
"Of course." I replied as I wrapped my arms around him with tears in my eyes.
And this was just the beginning of their story...
