The morning after the eventful day before finally rolled around and Thomas was in his study down stairs attending to some business.

He was so invested in his work that he hadn't heard the car pull up outside his home and Lizzie and the kids enter.

When Lizzie walked into her home with the children following behind her, she saw Lucille sitting on the love seat that was in the hallway reading one of the books from the unit across from her and her heart immediately sunk.

Her immediate thought was that Lucille was here to tell Tommy of her wrong doings and panic began to set in.

She obviously recognised Lucille from the many run in's that they have had due to Lucille's father and her automatic response was to get ready to fight so she sent the kids up to their play room out of the way.

"What the fuck are you doing in my house?" Lizzie spat and that's when Lucille looked up.

Lucille hadn't even noticed that Lizzie and the kids had entered the home and so the sound of Lizzie Shelby's voice bouncing off of the walls took her by surprise.

Luckily enough, Thomas heard the booming voice of his wife also and rushed to the hallway to take care of the situation that he had tried so hard to avoid.

The door to Tommy's study swung open with Thomas barging out before Lucille could answer or defend herself.

"She's here for an interview. Was going to get another maid for the house." Thomas explained, looking between the two women.

Lucille looked up at him with confusion and anger laced in her features and then it clicked in her mind what he was doing.

"Yeah. I didn't get the job. I was just waiting on my taxi home."

"Oh. Alright." Lizzie calmed down once she believed that she wasn't here to spill her secrets to her husband.

Paranoia was really taking a toll on her now.

"Tell ya what; To save you the trouble, I'll drive ya home. It's the least I can do for wasting your time this morning." Thomas smiled, still carrying on the facade.

"There's really no need, Mr Shelby." Lucille tried to play along, hoping that he would insist and she wouldn't have to walk home because, quite frankly, she didn't know how to get home from where ever the Shelby home was located.

"No worries."

"She said there's no need, Tom." Lizzie bit back.

For some reason, she felt uneasy with her husband being near Lucille. Maybe it was her own paranoia speaking or maybe it was the fact that Lizzie could see the change in Thomas' posture around her. It was a very microscopic change but Lizzie noticed it all the same and it made her fear the worst.

"You drive her, then." Thomas snapped, taking Lucille by surprise as she sat looking between the married couple. "One of us has to."

'Oh god. Leave it be Lizzie. I don't want to have to ride home with you. I'll want to kill ya' Lucille thought to herself, mentally begging every God above to work in her favour just this one time.
