Ding-dong, the doorbell rings.
“I’m coming” said Sarah as she runs from the kitchen to the door.
Ding-dong, the door was suddenly open by Sarah.
“Hello, what can I do for you” said Sarah as she was panting from running to the door.
“Hello, Miss can I interest you in some of the things I’m selling? We have economical fridges and simple house decor” said the Salesman.
“Umm I can’t afford most of the things you are selling---”
“How about some simple decor? Just look at these here.”
“How much is this plant?”
“What plant?” said the Salesman puzzled “I don’t remember seeing that in this catalogue.”
“So how much?”
“Well because it’s not listed there I will sell it only for 2.99”
Sarah look through her purse and fetches out a 5 and hands it to the Salesman and after after she hands it to him she winks at him.
“Thank you Miss” said the Salesman happily, “I will come later today with the product.”
Sarah closes her door and starts going into her room then cleans it a bit. She cleans a small corner that the plant will go to.
Some time passes and the doorbell rings one more time.
“I’m coming!” said Sarah as she runs from her bedroom.
Sarah opens the door, just before the Salesman tries for a second ring.
Sarah grabs his finger and said “I’m faster this time” and winks at him.
“Well here is your plant. I hope you like it” said the Salesman.
“Wouldn’t a nice man like you help a young girl like me with the plant?” said Sarah seductively.
“Yes, Miss where do you want it?”
“Follow me” said Sarah as she points to the corner where the plant should go.
“There we go, see you again soon” said the Salesman.
“See you soon too” said Sarah as she winks.
Sarah closes the door. she is happy about her new plant so she runs to her room and starts staring at the plant.
“Now plant! You and I will have tons of fun!” said Sarah as she points to the plant, and then grabs a water bottle and pours on the plant.
“---Yes, we will have fun” whispered the plant quietly.
Sarah turns her head to the plant, but pushes that thought off.
Sarah lays down on her bed and falls off to sleep.
