Something to Live For..

Hi this is the author here. I started putting my story from paper to Wattpad. Please rate and comment as that will give me inspiration to keep posting. Every time there is a line it is going to be a different characters point of view. And there will be a couple different characters! (: Thanks and please comment positively. Thank you. Now hope you enjoythe story:

Lilly has been thinking of doing it for a while now. She just didn't have the heart to do it, but she also didn't know if she wanted to, so she kept pretending she loved him. Eventually she started to realize she didn't need to pretend anymore, she loved him after all.

But once she realized she lived Dwight, it was too late...she got sick and the doctors couldn't give a diagnosis as to what caused it. They couldn't even name the illness. So as Dwight called her, the phone was picked up and the Butler would simply reply, "She's sick and cannot speak. Please stop calling. She will call you once she is well again. Bye."

She no longer heard the phone ringing off the hook. She was put in bed where she was to stay.

A couple of days before...

Dwight knew something was up. At first he couldn't figure it out. All he knew was Lilly was acting unusual and he thought it would only last a week. But her kisses just didn't feel the same, just there like the way she was acting. She didn't show much emotion anymore either.

The love of his life was changing and it seemed like her plans were not including him. Why would they? She was rich; he was just a boy who had dreams and hardly much of a family. His parents split up when he was seven. He never saw his dad again. But his mom stayed, if you call it staying with the family. She took a night club job and made enough money to keep the house. Most of the furniture and their vehicle was auctioned off and sold.

It was Dwight's duty to take care of his little sister, Casey. Casey was eleven. Dwight didn't know how his sister was always positive out of everything that became out of their family. Casey was beautiful, with electric blue eyes, black hair that was thick and long, and she was thin. Dwight and his younger sister were pretty close and hardly fought.

Dwight had green eyes and black hair. He was light skinned. He could never get tanned. Lily had beautiful hazel eyes and she always got a nice tan, yet still light complexity. Winter was when she got the lightest. She had long thin hair that was brown with a reddish tint. Dwight was about four inches taller then Lily and was thin but some what muscular.

He loved Lily, loved her like crazy. So if she didn't love him, then he knew he would have to let her go. He couldn't keep her forever, even if he wanted to, he just couldn't.

As the week went by, Lily was acting the same. Dwight knew deep in his heart that Lily was confused. She was probably unsure on how she felt for Dwight. He was losing her. He tried to pretend to be so happy when he was around Lily, but it just wouldn't work much longer. His heart was breaking. He was losing his love.

The only reason Lily hadn't broken it off was because she was too kind hearted. She wouldn't be able to hurt him. Dwights only hope was to make her happy and keep her in love with him if he could. So he smiled around Lily. Smiled when he saw her. His smiles weren't fake, they were completely real. Just seeing Lily made Dwight's day.

The last day Dwight just didn't have his hopes up anymore. He was just going to break up with her, so she wouldn't have to worry about hurting him. It was pain was tearing at his heart all morning. He tried not to smile when he saw Lilly, but he couldn't help it. He still loved her, she was his everything and he was about to lose that.

Lily remembered that day she saw Dwight with the most depressing look on his face. She had never seen him sad. He was always happy. But he looked tormented and distraught. Once he looked up and saw Lily though, he smiled. Lily even thought maybe she was seeing things, that Dwight had never looked sad, because there wasn't a trace of sadness on his face after he saw her.
