What Did We Do?

Chapter 9

I jolt back to consciousness. The others are kneeling on front of this man- Void, I remember- so I do too. Void is talking to Fluctus, but all I can think of is one thing.

Fluctus is Percy. Percy is Fluctus. They are one and the same.

Flu- Percy- looks at me strangely. I look around and see them all standing and staring at me. At some point Void must've stopped talking to them,

"Annabeth Marie Chase. Daughter of Athena. Leader of Cabin 6. Unofficial leader of Camp Half-Blood." Void booms.

"Yes, Lord Void?" My voice sounds pretty calm, given what I just saw. I want so bad to run to Percy and hug him, but I know that it wouldn't be proper in Void's presence.

"Do you object to Fluctus coming with me indefinitely to discuss what just happened here and for me to train him? The others have all agreed."

"No, Lord Void. Can I say goodbye first?" Percy looks at me weird, and I remember that he doesn't know that I know.

"Yes, Annabeth Chase." I run over to Percy and hug him. Void comes over and grasps Percy's shoulder.

"Ready to leave?" Percy nods, and Void tightens his grip on Percy's shoulder. Desperately, I kiss him, and whisper,

"I love you Percy." His eyes widen in shock.

"You kno-?" He's cut off by Void disappearing in a flash, taking Percy with him.

"Annabeth?" It's Silena.

"Yes?"

"How did you know?"

"Void showed me what happened, and told me not to be angry! I wouldn't be angry! I just want my Seaweed Brain back!" Her face softens and she hugs me. I break down and cry. I've lost him for the third time. First Hera took him, then Chaos, now Void. This has happened all so fast. The others come over.

"Are you alright?" It's Zoë. They're all being so kind to me. Suddenly I remember Luke's reaction to Chaos telling him I was dead. He must really care about me.

"Y-yes." I brush away my tears and stand taller. "I'm fine."

"Well, that's good, because now we have to explain to the campers what the Hades happened." Styx. I forgot about them! They left in a hurry a good... Hour ago, when Chaos told them to leave, and must be curious about what happened.

"Styx, I forgot about them!" Luke laughs, and we head out of the amphitheatre.

After walking around the camp, we go to the last place where they could be.

We reach Rachel's cave. When they hear us laughing and joking, the campers cautiously come out of their hiding places. Piper rushes to us and starts talking.

"What happened? Tell me!" I think she's using a bit of charmspeak, but before I can tell her everything, Silena puts her hand on Piper's arm.

"No charmspeak, sister." She says softly. Next to me, I see Luke fidgeting and when he's about to put his hood up again I stop him and step forward.

"Campers." I say in a strong clear voice "Some of the Nighthawks have revealed themselves. The remaining two will now step forwards." Calypso steps forward, only hesitating slightly.

"SUNSHINE" A voice from the crowd screams, and Leo pushes his way to the front. He runs to her and hugs her. Calypso smiles.

"Repair Boy." She says, so gently I barely hear her, and kisses him. Catcalls erupt from the campers, and Piper screams,

"So she WAS real!" When it's all died down, Leo leads Calypso into the crowd and I motion for Luke to step forward. He refuses to and mouthes,

"I can't do it. They all hate me." Zoë shoves him, and he reluctantly steps forwards, out of his hiding place behind Beckendorf and Silena, and into the open. I put my hand on his arm reassuringly. It's completely silent. Chiron steps forward slowly.

"L-Luke? Is that you?"

"Yes, Chiron." Luke almost whispers, but it's so quiet that everyone hears it. The old campers start protesting, and the new ones are just standing there, like "What?"

"SILENCE!" The crowd of campers parts like Medusa is sweeping down the middle. When I see the owner of the voice that shouted, I guess I was partly right.

Thalia stands alone in front of Luke. I withdraw to the warriors, leaving Luke to fend for himself. He's a big boy now. Thalia surprises everyone, Luke included, by hugging him. Then she steps back. Uh oh.

She slaps him "THAT WAS FOR TURNING EVIL!" She brings lightning down and strikes him "THAT WAS FOR HOSTING KRONOS!" She punches him in the nose "THAT WAS FOR DIEING!" She knees him in the groin, and shoots him there for good measure "THAT WAS FOR COMING BACK TO LIFE AND NOT TELLING ME!" Jason steps forward and puts his hand on her shoulder, a pretty dangerous thing to do, considering her body is covered by crackling lightning

"Who are you and what did you do to make my sister so angry?" Jason's voice is dangerously low.

"Thalia has a brother?" Bravo Luke. You just got Blonde Superman angry.

"Answer the question." Jason's voice is in the same low tone.

"I am Luke Castellan, and for what I did?" Luke laughs humourlessly "Exactly what you heard her say." Jason looks shocked. "Now, can you please answer my question?"

"Um, yes, she does. However, she is a daughter of Zeus, while I'm the son of Jupiter, but we share a mother." Now it's Luke's turn to look shocked, but he brushes it off.

"And your name?"

"Jason. Jason Grace."

"Full title!" Piper calls out, and Jason sighs.

"Jason Grace, son of Jupiter, Praetor of the Twelfth Legion, Consul to the Demigods, Toppler of the black throne of Krios, Brother of Thalia Grace, Lieutenant of the Hunters, One of the Seven, Boyfriend to Piper McLean, Daughter of Aphrodite."

"Could the rest of the Seven introduce themselves? Full titles." Chiron asks.

"Fine. I'll go first. Annabeth Chase, Daughter of Athena, Cabin Leader of Cabin 6, Unofficial Leader of Camp Half-Blood, One of the Seven, Holder of the Sky, Surviver of Tartarus, Opener of the Doors of Death, Girlfriend of Percy Jackson."

"Annabeth..." It's Thalia. Of course. She doesn't know.

"Piper McLean, Daughter of Aphrodite, Charmspeaker, One of the Seven, Cabin Leader of Cabin 10, Girlfriend of Jason Grace."

"Hazel Levesque, Daughter of Pluto, Member of the Twelfth Legion, Member of the Fifth Cohort, One of the Seven, Girlfriend of Frank Zhang."

"Frank Zhang, Son of Mars, Legacy of Neptune, Member of the Twelfth Legion, Member of the Fifth Cohort, One of the Seven, Boyfriend of Hazel Levesque."

"Leo Valdez, or Supersized McShizzle, whichever you prefer, Son of Hephaestus, Fire User, Cabin Leader of Cabin 9, Supreme Commander of the Argo II, One of the Seven, Boyfriend of Calypso?" Calypso nods, and Leo squeals. A manly squeal, of course.

"Hang on a sec. You're all saying that you're 'One of the Seven', but only six of you said that. Who's the seventh?" It's Beckendorf. He's been so quiet I almost forgot he was here. Before I can answer, Chiron interrupts.

"Excuse me Charles, but can I just ask, who is Fluctus?" I take a deep breath.

"The answer to both of your questions is... Percy Jackson."

A/N Yay! Long chappie! This chapter will be dedicated montezuma02 to when I get on a computer. I am 11. Also, I have a MASSIVE plot twist coming up. It's not going to end anytime soon. Annabeth's middle name in this book comes from Marie Curie. I thought it was the right middle name for her. This chapter's question is:
