Eden falls into Abaddon's arms. He opens his eyes, "they've found us." He looks down to see one of Gabriel's guards with his sword through Eden's back. The bloods seeping out fast like water down a tub drain. His heart begins pumping as loud as a band drum.
He grabs the guard and punches him sending the guard into the tunnel wall. He slides his sword out of Eden's back and she falls to the floor. Abaddon grabs the swords blade to prevent the guard from stabbing Eden again . It slices his hand like a freshly sharpened chefs knife.
He winces in pain and then pulls the sword out of the guards hand and swings it forward , the guards head goes flying down the tunnel and Abaddon drops to his knees and lifts Eden into his arms. The sight of Eden's lifeless body is enough to send him into a fit of rage, his eyes burn with the fires of hell. His heart pumping 100 miles an hour. He brushes Eden's hair behind her ear and lays her down softly.
His heart aching with hurt. He hears a loud stammer more guards storm the tunnel and he begins to fight them off. They ambush him further into the tunnel and he can see Eden's body being carried away. This angers him further and he begins to fight back harder. The guards fall back as Abaddon sets the tunnel ablaze with fire that appears as if from nothing.
He runs for the forest he can see the trees. He looks back one more time at the place where he lost his best-friend. He wipes a tear from his eye and vows to himself that Gabriel and the Angels will pay.
