Scene starts from Kathir walking in listening to Mullai sing 'unkaga vazha neikeren'.

Kathir walks into the house. He cannot wait to see Mullai, his mullai. He knows Dhanam anni, Kannan and Meena would make fun of him, but he did not mind much. All he cared about was that he could see Mullai now.

He walks in with anticipation and longing, and then he hears it. The sweetest sound he has ever heard. Mullai is there laying flowers into the vessel with water. He smiles to himself. He cannot help but admire how beautiful she looks singing without a care in the world. Is she singing this song thinking about him? Kathir's heart starts beating faster at the thought.

Mullai stands up still singing and catches sight of him startled she drops the bowl of flowers. He catches it in one swift move as the flowers tumble all around them.
Mullai is standing there in shock. Blushing she asks.
M mind voice- ayyo Ivar epa vanthar. Naama padnatha keturparo. Cha ivara neichukute ethyum kavinkama vitutome.

M - epaga vanthinga?

K- Nee pada arambikumbothe vanthuten.

M- En vanthu apiye ninuteega??

K- Ila nee kizha ethavathu poduva odi vanthu pidikalam nu than.

Mullai starts blushing shyly. She cannot contain her happiness. She was just thinking of him and he appeared. To be honest these days she was always thinking of him.

K- Amma veetula yaarume illaha anni yarumme kanume?

M- Akka meena veetuku poirkanga

She  pauses slightly and seeing the concerned look in his face she understands and reassures him

M- Akka matumila mamavum.

Kathir nods. He likes that she understands him perfectly even before saying a word. He was worried for a second that anni had gone to see Janardhan alone but since Moorthy anna was with him he need not worry much.

Kathir looks at Mullai thinking this is a perfect time to have come. Thankfully there will be no intruptions. Anni was out and no one seemed to at home now.

Mullai smiles as though she was anticipating this answer.

K- Namba mudilaya?

M- Amaga

K with a mischievous smile- Nambavekava

He slowly starts moving towards her he had no idea why he just wanted to be near her.

M- epidiga?

K- epidiyavathu.

He is inches away from her. He slowly raises his hand and brings it towards her face. Stopping right as he is about to touch her She closes her eyes shut. But she doesn't move back. He smiles  happy that she dint back away. If she has moved even a bit away he would not have touched her. He respected her wishes. Yes he wanted to no he needed to touch her. But he would never ever touch her without her consent. He picks off a small yellow petal stuck in her neck. The small touch sends jolts through him.

Mullai breathes in heavily. She looks at her neck and his hand. Though thrilled at the proximity and the slightest touch, She is slightly disappointed. She doesn't know why. Maybe she wanted him to touch her face.
