A giant capital F stained the top right corner of my math test. I sighed and shoved the paper in my book bag. I couldn't worry about it right now. "Cassie." My teacher stopped me before I could escape the class room. "Yes?" I said in a small voice. "I wanted to talk to you about your grades. Specifically the last three math tests. I talked to your other teachers and they said you were failing all their classes. Is everything ok?" She asked with a soft voice. No felt all the color drain from my face. I did not want the school invoked with my....condition and current moods. "Oh" was all I said. "Is there something you need to talk about?" "Oh no!" I said almost to quickly. Her eyebrows creased together. "I've been a really busy person. I'm working on my grades! I promise." I said in my sincere voice. I've been working on being more plausible when it comes to my lying. She nodded. "If you want I can help you with your math?" "Oh no I'm fine....but thank you mrs James" I mumbled already out the door. I didn't wait for a reply, I was so out of there. It was easy to leave the school when you aren't leaving at the same time as everyone else who is more then ready to leave the prison they call high school.
