Dear Diary, I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng and I have a secret to tell you. I am the one and only Ladybug, you know, the superhero that my BFF Alya is obsessed with. She is the creator of the Ladyblog, where she posts videos of Ladybug and tries to uncover who is under the mask of ladybug. Alya has been my best friend since the start of this year. She was a new kid and on the first day of school she stood up to Chloe, the mean spoilt brat in our class. After that she became my best friend who I could talk to about everything...except for my second life as ladybug.
I also have a lot of other friends. Rose, Juleka, Mylene, Alix, Nino and Adrien. There are some others but those are most of my close friends. Juleka has an older brother named Luka. He's a pretty good friend too. Oh, I forgot to tell you about my family! My mum's name is Sabine and she is a very nice person. She is kind and forgiving. I am very clumsy but she just helps to fix anything I destroy without complaining or shouting at me. My dad's name is Tom. He is very protective of me. He also owns the best bakery in Paris with my mum. They are both very passionate about baking.
