Juliet's POV*

I brushed the final stroke through my brown to blonde ombre hair. I put my brush down and looked at myself in the mirror. I sighed.

"Juliet, are you ready? The bus is here!" I heard my mother shout from downstairs.

"Coming!" I looked at my uniform once more. The uniform consisted of a tan skirt, a dark red sweater with a white collard shirt underneath it. I had on my dark red knee high socks and since you could wear whatever shoes you wanted I put on my black high combat boots. I grabbed my bag and my phone and hurried downstairs.

"Don't forget after school you have a vocal lesson with Mr.Maxwell and then you have to come home for my work party. So once you do get home dress nicely." My mom said strictly. I nodded and hurried out the door.

I jogged down the bus that had it's doors opened for me. I sat down in the front. I grabbed my ipod and put in my ear buds. The Downfall Of Us All by A Day To Remember started playing.

Hi, I'm Juliet. I live in Australia and today is my first day at this new school. I just moved here from New Jersey. Why? Because my parents can afford it. My family is rather wealthy and is makes me sick how much my mom gloats to everyone about money meanwhile I don't mention anything about it. My mother is also rather controlling and long story short I don't even know what the real me looks like. Disobeyment was something I was never taught to do, but in all honesty I want to so bad and I'm hoping people at this school won't use me for money like my last school did.

As for my physical looks, I'm about 5'7" so I'm not too short, not to tall I guess. I'm 16 years old. I have a side part, my hair goes from brown to blonde. I always wanted to dye my hair a crazy color but my mom won't let me and this was the most I could get out of it. I have all up the sides of my ears pierced. Of course my mom isn't okay with it, she hates it but I had to bed her for two or three years to get it done. I really want to stretch my ears a little bit too. My eyes are dark brown, nearly black. And I guess you can consider me skinny, I mean you can't see my ribs but you get it.

The bus made a abrupt stop, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked out the window to see we we're at school. I grabbed my bag and stood up. I was the first off the bus considering I was seated in the front row. There were groups of kids messing around and talking outside of the large building. I kept my head low and just listened to my music as I walked past them.

I could feel eyes on me, mostly because I'm the new girl.

I got my schedule and made my way to first period. Everyone must have beat me to it because once I entered the room, all eyes were on me.

I awkwardly shuffled to the teacher.

"Ah, you must be Miss Lena? Am I correct?"

"Yes sir." I said.

"Oo, manners. Class you should all start acting a little more like Juliet here. Anyway you can sit anywhere you like." He said and the class slightly chuckled. I held my scheuale close as I moved to the only empty seat in the class. It was next to a boy who was rather attractive. He had dark hair with a blue strip in his fringe. Instead of having his uniform, he was in black skinny jeans and an All Time Low shirt on. He gave me a slight nod before I took my seat.

"I'm Michael." He said quietly as the class began to start.

"Juliet." I simply said back. I wanted to be friends with Michael so bad, he looked really cool but I know I wouldn't be able to bring him to my house. My mom would look at him like he was homeless then kick him out of our house.

"Where are you from?" He said with his thick Aussie accent.

"America, New Jersey in particular." I smiled. He nodded before slouching in his seat some more and looking back up at the board. I then focused and took out my notebook.
