Patton threw his bag onto the floor in front of couch and flopped down onto the cushiony relief with a sigh. It had been a long day at school for the bubbly male. He had set up Logan and Remus' perfect after school date instead of using study hall appropriately and had been a messenger for Roman and Virgil all day because Roman was upset at Virgil for being a no-show on their date with no warning the night before. He had forgotten about a STEM essay he had due and now had to rush and finish it by Tuesday or else he'd get a zero. Plus a couple math sheets, three reading assignments, two writing assignments at least two science worksheets, a history test next week, and only half of his animation project complete, Patton was extremely mentally exhausted and completely stressed out. He needed a break. The curly haired boy suddenly realized how foggy his glasses were and how warm his face was. Right. Mask. He tore it off and placed it on the coffee table with a soft sigh. Patton heaved a heavy sigh and smiled before reaching over and limply holding his phone to his face, just close enough to see the notification from Janus.

Patton smiled softly and put his phone away before everything else from school. He changed out of his casual clothes, switching them out with a pair of light grey sweat pants and a 'Pawsome Dad' shirt Virgil had gotten him. The curly haired boy sat on the couch with some of his notes and began to look over them until there was a knock on the door. Patton didn't respond as the door just swung open not even 30 seconds later to reveal his best friend walking into his house with some things in hand, gently kicking the door shut behind him. Janus set the armful of movies on the coffee table and a good amount of his own blankets next to Patton.
"Ready?" Janus smiled, looking down at the other boy who had quickly dropped his notes to curl up in the blankets, surrounding himself in Janus' scent. "You look comfy already" he turned on Beauty And The Beast before turning the lights off and laying with Patton, letting his friend curl up to his chest. Janus smiled and hummed contently while running his fingers through Pattons hair, loving when they were able to do this. Recently they hadn't been getting enough time together and neither of them would say or admit it but they honestly missed each other. Patton leaned up and kissed his friends chin before turning back to the movie, the other male yawning softly.
It's been a long day...we should get some rest..
