Soo I guess I'll try to answer a question that many are afraid to ask, that many avoids and that many get uncomfortable talking about.



Let's begin with the question that I get the most.
Why? Why do you do it?

U recognise it?
Well the answers aren't simple but I'll try my best.
Think of the last time you where so angry or sad that the emotion took up your entire body, it made you want to scream run away or even kill someone. U get it? Now if you think of a teenaged boy with all those emotions he punch a wall with all his strength.
Now ask yourself why did he do that?

If you said to release the emotions that he couldn't really get out.
You where right.

Now have that same thought and just think of 4 methods to release that anger and sadness.
What did you come up with?

In my head when I ask myself that I have these.
• talk
• scream
• drag away
• close it inside of you

Soo the last one, that's when SH gets in. It's a way to release that pain and anger that's inside of you.  But when you need to cut deeper, burn more or just hurt yourself more intensely, that's when it's dangerous

So selfharm to me is a way to release, but if you lock things inside for to long and not show what you feel, it will leave you fucked up.

I don't remember when I last cried or screamed at someone. And it scares me.
So if it's possible, try not to start because getting out of the big, strong, black hole is almost impossible.
