The morning, as most mornings do, came too early and Hermione just couldn't find the actual will to get out of bed. "Ten more minutes won't hurt," she muttered as she snoozed her alarm and rolled back over.

Her slumber didn't last long however, because a minute later there was a pounding on her door. "Ugh," she groaned as she rolled out of bed and stormed to the door. It had escaped her sleepy mind that she was in nothing but a slightly oversized shirt and some knickers. Her hair was a mess on top of her head as well. She threw open the door and narrowed her eyes at Severus, whose eyes scanned her state of dress before clearing his throat. "My apologies, I just assumed you would already be awake and ready at this hour," he stated harshly although his unusually pale cheeks now had evidence of a slight pink nature.

Hermione blinked then looked down at her watch. Her eyes were still blurry from sleep so she had to bring it close to her face and squint to see it. "It's six o'clock in the bloody morning. On a Saturday," she yelled. "I agreed to meet you this morning, but at a decent hour," she then added before trying to close the door in his face.

Severus had his foot already cocked in the door to keep it from closing. He quickly pushed her aside before strolling into her chambers uninvited. His eyes did a quick scan of the room and he was very impressed that it wasn't completely Gryffindor glorified. As the door slammed, he turned to face a very livid witch. "This is a perfectly acceptable time for adults to be up on a Saturday, Miss Granger," he began with a snarl. "Perhaps you should start taking your job a bit more seriously since you seem to be under the assumption that you're getting paid to sleep and flirt with the fellow staff," he added in a cool voice as he loomed over her.

Hermione's anger was certainly getting the better of her, as it always seemed to do with this man. She almost liked it better when he was ignoring her like he did in all her years at Hogwarts. "Listen here! I take my job very seriously! I just didn't expect you to be in bed by eight o'clock and up at sunrise," she yelled back as traitorous tears began to pool in her eyes. She hated that her anger was hardwired to her tear ducts.

Severus shifted uncomfortably and took a step back with a look of disdain on his face. "Are you crying," he asked incredulously.

Hermione sniffled and wiped her eyes. "As for what I do when I am not on the clock is MY Business," she added as she now stormed towards him, making him retreat backwards towards the back of  the couch. "Saturday and Sunday and evenings actually, should be MY TIME," she roared, making Severus hit the back of the couch then flip over it in a very comical manner.

He quickly jumped up and fixed his robes before storming over to her. His nostrils flared in absolute anger. "You are my apprentice. You work for Me," he snarled viciously. "If I say you're working into the evening, you're working into the evening. If I say you're working weekends, guess what, Miss Granger, you're working evenings," he replied coolly as he once again loomed over her with his dark eyes turning hard as he glared down at her. "Do I make myself clear," he asked with slow deliberation.

Hermione bobbed her head slowly, unable to break his gaze, no matter how much she wanted to. It was one of those moments that you see in muggle movies, where the people despise each other so much that they finally just kiss and ravish each other. Her lips actually tingled in anticipation, hoping he would slam his lips into hers.

"Good," he replied slowly. An aching built up inside of him, a voracious desire took up pitted in his stomach as well as other places. His eyes narrowed at the witch as he spun on his heel away from her. "Be down in twenty minutes," he state before breezing through the door and slamming it shut.

He had never felt anything so ravenous before and he couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. Clearly lust was at play, because he's had his fair share of affairs with witches, but this was a completely new hunger within him and he was greatly losing control over it. "Blasted witch," he groused as he stormed into his office.

Before he could even sit down, there was a knock on his door before Minerva walked in. Severus had to do everything in his power to hide the evidence of his arousal for a certain witch the she had bestowed on him. "A word, Severus," the witch stated as she walked over and took a seat. Severus was thankful for that at least and quickly sat down so his lower half was hidden from sight. "How are things with Miss Granger," she asked gently.

Horrible, excruciating, terrible, undeniably and utterly Damned!

"They're fine, Minerva," he stated slowly. "The insufferable know it all seems to have a defiance about her though," he added slowly, taking note that that revelation made his member start aching a bit more.

The witch heard him groan softly because of his apparent discomfort. "Are you well, Severus," she the asked.

Define well? Is well having a tent pitched in you pants and causing excruciating pain? The sure, I'm dandy.

"All is well, Minerva. I have a bit of a headache," he replied which again, wasn't a complete lie.

"Please be gentle with Hermione," Severus, the witch warned as she stood up.

Something tells me that she doesn't like gentle.

"I'll try my absolute best not to make her cry," he replied, making no motion to get up from his seat.

The witch nodded and headed out of his office. Severus was quick to get up and run to the bathroom for relief.

"Good morning, Hermione," Minerva gretted the young with as they passed in the hallway.

Hermione smiled, but it was a very sleepy smile. "Good morning, Professor," she greeted back softly.

"How are you and Severus getting along," she then asked gently.

Like two vipers in a pit of death.

Hermione smiled to herself at her own thought. "We're getting along pretty well," she lied. She wasn't sure why she was lying though. She could easily tell Minerva the truth and probably get transferred to a different teacher and department. That was something she'd have to eventually ponder over.

"Wonderful, dear. If he gives you any trouble, you know where to find me," Minerva stated with a friendly smile as she hurried away.

Hermione smiled back then glared at the door to the office before walking inside.
