April June POV
Year 2017

"Aight so...x is equal to -23...skewness is 2.01...huh?" I muttered to myself as I scribbled formulas and solutions on a piece of paper. I'm reviewing kasi may exam kasi kami sa Statistics bukas. The lessons are relatively easy, but for some reason I forget things easily. Oh, how I wish I didn't have the memory of a goldfish.

I glanced at my wristwatch. 6:03pm. It's almost time to take my medications. I stood up at pumunta sa kitchen namin. I grabbed a bottle of pills from the cupboard and a glass of water. I popped a pill into my mouth and downed the glass of water in an instant. Time to get back to studying.

I lightly ascended the stairs, making sure to skip the 6th step, as that was the creaky one. Before going to my room, I took a peak at my parents' bedroom, just at the opposite end of the hallway. My mother was sitting on the bed, typing away at her laptop. It's most likely another report. Siya ay isang assisstant manager sa kaniyang office. I forgot what the name of her company was, though. My father on the other hand was on a con-call with two of his clients. I also forgot his job. Sigh. My memory really sucks. How I got top 2 with this goldfish memory of mine, I don't know. Anyway, it was just a typical Sunday evening. I turned around and went to my twin brother's room, which was just beside mine. The door was ajar, so I could kind of see him. He was playing LOL again. He always spends time on those video games. It's almost like he forgot he has a SISTER, a FAMILY...

Sigh.

I trudged back to my room dejectedly.

It was just a typical Sunday evening. Then I'd wake up again tomorrow, and have another typical Monday. As usual.

Or so I thought.
