Before reading, I want to establish a few things.
It's been years since I last had a bit of interest in the vanoss crew, but I know a lot of drama happened these last few years. I hate to admit that it's because of this that I don't see myself going back to watching them, but I was too invested in this story to give it up (so here we are).
Next, I know that some of the shit that happened involves Mini and (I'd rather not say). It's because of this that I decided to change up a few things (thank god I was planning on doing this already).
While this might be a fanfic (ew I hate that word), these characters aren't tied to vanoss or anyone in the group, they just coincidently share a name with them. These characters might have similar traits to the youtuber's but they will have ones of their own too. So if a character seems out of character, you know why.
I want to say that I was already planning on doing this thanks to my sister. She started drawing them without knowing they were from the vanoss crew, and it got me to think that maybe they should be their own characters instead. The drama and shit just solidified my decision, so if you don't like it you can leave.
I don't know whether I'll end up showing the drawings, but you can use your imagination if you so wish. I can only see myself describing their bird forms anyway, so I don't think I'll be describing their human forms as much.
lastly, I'm going to try to write this story using as much accuracy as I can. It might be a pain in the ass (trust me, pinpointing perfect areas of settling down four birds with different migratory patterns isn't fun) but I feel like it's worth it. And as such, that means these four bird boys don't look like they just got out of a limousine. They escaped a lab for christ's sake, they got scars just like anyone would in this situation. So fare warning to some angst and other shit.
