Ded slammed his big hands on his office table and glared at me. He was breathing hard and I swear that at any moment steam would come out of his ears like a choo choo train in a child's bedroom.
"Would you like to explain what happened last night?" Said by Ded while gritting his teeth.
"Be careful Ded, your teeth might break." I said, mockingly.
"Dont use that tone with me, girl or else." He said threatining me in my seat.
Suddenly, my heart skipped a beat and the room looked like it became smaller. The man facing me was not my granfather but the feared and respected CEO and president of the Romanov Empire, the man who owned half of Russia.
I've seen it when he was working. All the employees feared those silver eyes when angry. My Ded Viktor owned a lot of hotel and resort chains all over the world. Aside from those, he manages an airline in Russia and some parts of the world. He was respected in the business world as well as the government of Russia.
And he manages with an iron fist.
No one escapes his eagle eyes and sharp mind. At the age of 52, he works like a man half his age and never falters in everything.
"They started it. I didnt even know they were government agents, Ded." I defendingly said.
He sighed. Maybe he was thinking, 'This is all my fault. I should never have hired those special forces men to tutor her in fighting and should have hired bodyguards instead.'
He sat down on his famous maroon swivel chair and frowned.
"I hired those men to teach you how to defend yourself because you do not want bodyguards. Not to break bones of other people just to have fun."
"I was not having fun!"
"They were investigating an illegal underground arena and you were there! You broke half of their bones and you have been caught by the media! What are you doing there in the first place?!?" He roared.
"I lost from a bet and the consequence was to accompany the winner to an underground arena. Also, I was curious. For the record I was careful."
He sighed.
"You are going to be the death of me." He muttered and for a moment I felt guilty. He opened his eyes and looked at me.
"You can no longer be this kind of woman, Tatiana. Be a proper woman I expect you to be. Be obedient, respectful and dont be reckless."
I was stunned for a moment. The intensity in his eyes was proof enough that he was tired of my recklessness and rebellious behavior.
I was only silent.
"Change, Tatiana." He said.
"No. What's wrong with this me?" I said.
"Change!"
"No!"
"Then you leave me no choice. I am sending you to a boarding school in England, as a commoner. That way your Romanov name can no longer bail you out of trouble."
"What?!?! Why?!?" I asked, pissed and surprised.
"For you to learn how to be the a proper lady and for you to be punished!"
My mind was having a hard time digesting what he said, so I stormed out of his office and went to my room. I dialled Aki's number.
In the third ring, she picked it up.
"Hello?"
"What took you so long to pick the fucking phone?" I roared.
"Woah. Who peed in your cheerios, heiress?"
