                        ---Adrian---

The house was empty other than him. The pack hunt was tonight, five hundred exited wolves roamed the plains. He  should be out there, out front with his Beta and Delta. He wanted to be out their. Yet tonight was unfortunately also the due date for the paper work mountin that he had shoved in the back of the closet last month. With a resigned sigh he sat down, flicking through a report from the border patrol.

Not much had been happening up their, no vampires recently, they knew to stay out of his territory. A few sightings of hunters In the woods, one had tried to shoot his senitrys, they had left him dead in a bush. Other than that the odd lost traveler and nothing out of the usual. He put the reports aside, moving onto some documents needing his signature, he put his face in his hands, tonight was going to be a bloody long night.

                  ---Cassidy---

Something was of about these woods, and it was nothing to do with the overriding scent of wet dog. Bloody werewolves. She snarled, pinching her nose with pale fingers. She was losing the scent of the dark haired male she had been chasing. Cursing herself she began stomping back to the edge if the forest, kicking up the dead leaves. That smell, what the hell was it. She sniffed again, gagging as it entered her nostrils. Rotting and decay, death, old death. Not the delicious scent of fresh blood. Someone or something had died here.

She followed the scent north, closer to the werewolf territory border line. She hesitated when she reached it. No clear line but the trees were thinner here, but enough for a large wolf to weave in and put without difficulty. She stepped over the line.

She found a dead man barely ten paces from the border, the injurys suggested wolf kill, five long claw Mark's down his left side. Curiosity quenched, she walked back towards the line, she didn't care about the man, he was the dogs problem, not hers. She did not smell the men approaching her from the other direction.

                     ---Adrien---

It was past midnight when he got the call, his cell phone vibrating on the table. He picked it up. Aiden, his Beta was calling. He pressed the answer button and was greeted by both Aiden and Chase, his Delta shouting into the microphone. "Adrien." Aiden called."You there." He rolled his eyes. "Obviously, or I wouldn't have picked up." Chase sighed but Aiden continued to shout down the phone. "We found a vampire past the pack border." Adriens eyes went dark, he stood knocking his chair to the ground. "Were are you." He growled out, phone in hand already walking to the door.

Aiden and chase were apparently down by the northern border edge. That was all he knew, after receiving the information he had thrown his phone hard at a tree and watched it shatter. Why couldn't the bloody demons keep to their own territory, why the hell was a vampire here.

He arrived at the northern border in record time. He killed the engine of his Audi Q7 and opened the door. Stepping out onto the grass before the forest. He would have to run the rest. No way was his car getting in there. Locking the car he chucked the keys in his pockets and took of. He didn't shift, not wanting to lose his keys or have to deal with the issue of being without clothes when he got there. He was pretty fast in human form anyways.

               ---Cassidy---
Man sometimes she was thick. She had walked into werewolf territory, broken a law and then presumed she was safe as soon as she left their lands. But no, she had been taken by surprise, jumped on by a grey wolf and hardly had a second to fight back before their was half a dozen on her dragging her to the pack territory.

Thank goodness for the cheap black hair dye she had smothered through her red hair that morning. She could at least somewhat hide her identity. She felt like crap. Two wolves still stood on top of her pinning her down. From there size she guessed the Beta and Delta. And ugh man they where heavy.

Her clothes were for the most part intact, but a nasty slash stretched down her pale left arm. Her blood spilled from it. Staining her snow white skin. It was rather disconcerting, she was used to other people's blood, not her own.
However it was already healing, the skin stitching its self back together. The wolf on top of her growled as she shifted under him. She grinned up at him opening her mouth and shooting out my fangs. He growled again. Three other wolves took their place as they moved of behind a bush. She could here them changing and shifting. Then they were talking on the phone to someone...damn. The alpha. He was coming. He was coming to her.
