*thats Rin. So how do you like it? Good I hope. Tell me if its to confusing.*
Manami and Rin's relationship slowly changed from hatred to lust. But as quickly as lust came, it was gone and replaced by love.
Manami found out why she loved him, soon after Rin found why he loved her. Rin gave Manami adventure, while she grounded him.
But, soon, their world crashed.
Manami had stared at the medic, confused and scared. "I-I don't understand." Manami had sobbed out.
"What isn't there to understand, miss?" The medic had asked. "You're pregnant." Manami's mother had let out a loud sob, followed by manami's own. She didn't understand. How? Why?
Rin and her had only done it once, and now she was pregnant. How?
"No!" Her usually stoic father had screamed, tears streaming down his rankled face.
Aika, her name meaning Love song, had looked so confused. "I don't understand why it is bad. I'll be an aunt!" But Manami and only sobbed louder. Her sister, an aunt at six.
"You don't understand, Aika!" She'd screamed.
Aika had stopped clapping, looking sad. "What I understand, is." She'd looked at her older sister with a fire in her eyes. "That you fell in love! You are having a baby with the man you love! You do it have an arranged marriage like mother and father did!" At that moment, something had clicked for Manami. Aika was right. It was with the man she loved, and she would love this baby, no matter what.

Months had passed by, Manami growing bigger and bigger with each passing day. She'd long since found out she was having twins, and that it was a girl and boy.
Rin had been estatic, and swore that he'd do anything for her and her clan. And he kept his promise. All wars between the Yoi and Yanaka stopped. The two clans were at peace.
But, somehow, they knew it wouldn't last.
Soon, the two babies were born healthy. But they were complete opposites. The little girl was named Amaya, meaning Night rain. She'd been named after the rain that had fallen the night the two were born. She'd gotten her fathers attitude, energetic and sarcastic. But she had also gotten her mothers, quiet and reserved.
But both clans hated the girl, for she didn't look like one clan, but both. She had the Yoi's black hair no the Yanaka's blue eyes. She had both clans shifting powers, though her mothers was stronger.
The boy was named Tengoku, meaning heaven. He'd been named after the first light that had needed throught the clouds the next day. He was much like his mother, always quiet and reserved. But, he had his fathers looks. He had the black hair and blood red eyes of the Yoi. He was also loved by the Yoi clan, because of his looks. Tengoku only had the Yoi's power, while his sister had both. Some even thought he was jealous, but he was truly proud of his sister.
Five years passed quickly, proving Manami the motherly figure. Amaya grew and learned fast, already able to beat her father in battle. Tengoku learned the way of a priest, and was soon able to call on the dead.
The two were growing up in completely different worlds.
Meanwhile, as they grew up, a man with snake eyes watched from the shadows. He was amazed by the by the powers, and he wanted it for himself. All to himself.
As Amaya grew stronger, she started learning more about her heritage, and about her parents love. Soon, she realized she was in love with love itself.
Then their world came crashing down. All in one night, in one time, one thing. And it was for one reason.
Power.
