After the club, Freddie drove around for a while, until Lydia asked for some McDonalds. He went through the drive-through, laughing when she leaned all the way over his lap to give the worker her order. She munched on her french fries as she realized they were outside of an unknown apartment building. "Is this where you kill me?" She teased as Freddie typed in a code to the security panel outside of the parking garage.
"No babe," Freddie laughed as he drove into the structure. "But Auston will definitely be bringing someone home tonight, and I wanted you to be able to sleep."
"Oh, so no other motive?" Lydia smirked as Freddie came and opened the door for her after he had parked.
"Of course no, I am a gentleman," he sniffed, tilting his head up making Lydia giggle as he leads her to the elevator. As they waited for the car, Lydia wrapped her arms around Freddie's arm that was in his pocket, leaning her head on it and smiling when she felt him drop a kiss on the top of her head.
When they got into his apartment, Lydia was happy to report that it truly looked lived in. There were books on the coffee table, cups in the sink, and pictures of the Andersens on the walls. "I'll go grab you some clothes," Freddie interrupted your inspection as he went down a hall that she assumed was to his bedroom. She made her way into the living room, plopping onto the large couch, groaning as she sunk into it.
Lydia closed her eyes and opened them lazily when she heard Freddie come back to the main area, smiling sleepily up at him as he silently handed her a sweatshirt and sweatpants. "I doubt the sweatpants will fit but I figured you could try," he pulled her up, dragging her down the hall he had just come from.
His room was all dark and mature, the walls gray with dark furniture and a white comforter. He pointed towards another door, which was the bathroom of your dreams. A huge soaker tub and a big glass shower. "I need to come back for a soak in this tub at some point," she called out to Freddie as she stripped out of her clothes, sniffing the sweatshirt and smiling softly when she caught the scent that was purely Freddie.
Lydia left the bathroom, not even bothering with the sweatpants when his sweatshirt practically went to her knees and getting all warm inside when she saw Freddie shirtless in bed waiting for her and scrolling through his phone. She climbed up in the bed, slipping under the covers and curling right up to his side. When he put his phone down she decided to ask the question that had been haunting her.
"Fred," he looked down at her, recognizing the vulnerable look in her eyes. "Where is this going?"
"Well," he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I was hoping to get to ask you to be my girlfriend."
"Really," she smiled up at him, the happiness clear in her gaze.
"Lydia you are the most amazing woman I have ever met, of course, I would want you to be my girlfriend." He grinned as her cheeks got red and she buried her head in his chest.
