Bill shut his locker and looked up at Mike.

"We still studying at the library tonight, Billy?"

"O-Of course, M-Mikey," Bill grinned.

"What time?"

"P-Probably around s-s-six. I-I have to eat d-dinner and do h-h-h-homework with Georgie."

"Well, I could get you dinner after we study," Mike shrugged.

"Y-You dont have t-to."

"But I want to."

"R-Really?"

"Mhm!"

Bill smiled. The two boys scurried off to fourth period.

Bill's POV

Science. Science was my fourth period. Mike has always loved science. He knows everything about it.

I sat in the back of the class and sighed softly. Mrs. Whats her face started teaching.

Mike. Mike Hanlon was adorable. He was also really strong. Ugh, I might love him. Of course, he probably doesnt feel the same.

But he offered to buy you dinner. It's like a date.

No, it's not.. Hes just being polite.. Right?

-end of day-

I hurried to my locker, opened it, and took out all my shit.

No POV

Bill shut his locker and expected Mike to be around. Mike was nowhere to be found. "Weird.." Bill mumbled. He shrugged, there was probably an excuse for why he wasn't there. The quiet boy left the building and biked home.

At home

Bill plopped on his bed and took out his phone.

🌟Billy🌟: Hey Mikey! Where were you at the end of the day?

🐑Mikey🐑: Hey, sorry Bill. I kind of rushed out of the building without thinking.

🌟Billy🌟: Its alright. An what time are we going to the library?

🐑Mikey🐑: Around 5:30 - 6:00. Is that alright?

🌟Billy🌟: Mhm! Are you picking me up or are we meeting up at the library.

Mike stopped replying.

🌟Billy🌟: Mikey?

After a few more messages, Bill called him.

"Hello?" Came Mike's voice.

"Hey, Mike. Why'd you stop replying?" He giggled.

"Sorry I'm helping my grandfather out with something."

"Oh."

"I'll be right back!" Mike hung up.

Bill sighed. His dad was at work and his mom was out shopping. He texted his mom.

Billy: Mom? Im gonna study with Mike tonight, is that alright?

Mom❤: Bring Georgie with you. I have to visit your aunt after im shopping and your father is working late tonight.

Billy: Alright. Mike and I could get us each some dinner before we go to the library to study.

Mom❤: Whatever works.

Bill went downstairs. "G-G-Georgie, youre going t-to come to the l-library with M-Mike and I. Him and I-I are gonna study b-but we'll buy you dinner."

"Okay, Billy. Can I bring art supplies and can i read there?"

"O-Of course."

The two boys got ready. They threw on jackets, gloves, shoes, and hats. It was fall, almost winter, so it was pretty cold out. Thirty six degrees Fahrenheit, to be exact. Bill made sure to bundle Georgie up so he disnt get sick. Bill packed one of Georgie's backpacks with snacks, two notebooks, pencils, pens, colored pencils, crayons, and markers. Georgie would be able to read books at the library. Georgie put on his backpack.

"R-Ready?"

"Mhm! Ready if you are!"
