Opposites Collide

Dude, it's the first day. (Kat's POV)

A harsh buzzing filled my ears. I tried to block it out but it wouldn't shut up. I opened my eyes and sighed, realizing it was my alarm on my phone. I shut it off and stood up. I walked over to Adrianna's bed and shook her awake. "GET UP, LAZY ASS!" She sat up and slapped me.

"Shut up." I smiled and walked to the closet. "Why did you wake me up at," Adrianna checked her phone, "six fifteen? Kat, you hobag!"

"We have school, dummy. And thanks for the compliment." I pulled out my Sleeping with Sirens band tee out and a pair of black jeggings. Why do I dress in front of her? I let the thought slip from my mind as I changed out of my shorts into the jeggings. I slipped on a bra and the shirt.

"You should wear that leather jacket of yours." Adrianna said, walking to her dresser.

"Good idea. Dammit! I am so dumb! I need to take a shower!"

I took a shower I walked back into the room and saw Adrianna wearing her black mini skirt and sleeveless black top. I said to her, "You're such a slut."

She replied,"Thank you I try." I tried hard not to roll my eyes.

We piled into my green pickup truck and turned on the radio. "TO OUR DOOM!"

We arrive at school and see all the cliques already forming. "This year is going to be complete hell" I said.

"You know it!" Adrianna replied. We walked past everyone and everyone gave me strange looks but not Adrianna. She looked more normal than me so I understand. I feel bad because it's me who is keeping her from being popular but she doesn't mind it. I think she does mind it though.

We walked into our first hour class and sat in the back corner of the room. Some people started to come in as the bell rang. "Let's ditch school after this. This is more boring than I remembered," Adrianna whispered to me. A popular boy heard her and he licked his lips. Adrianna didn't notice because he was behind her.

I noticed so I said, "Wherever you go I go. I'll stick with you." Little did In know she would hold that over my head.
