Ophelia ^
Xavier's POV

As he travels he admires the sky. It was a misty midnight color with blue stars. It was dark, so dark he could barely see the path he traveled on. He was thinking about abandoning his mission and just going back the way he came, but then he saw it. A massive temple that was only visible because of the fire that lit up the area. He looked around at his surroundings and noticed blue crystals glowing in the shadows. As the place got brighter, he realized that what was in front of him wasn't just a temple; it was a city. A forgotten one at that. Buildings were destroyed and the ground was beginning to crack. There was something odd about the area around the temple. It was still in good condition. He started taking small steps to get a closer look and suddenly felt a strong amount of energy pulling him closer.
What is this place?
"-er!"
Why is this place so powerful?
"-avier!"
Why is everything else but this temple falling apart?
"Xavier!"
"Huh!?" Xavier launches forward in his bed. He starts to calm down when he realizes it was only his sister.

"Xavier Hurry up! We have to help mom out in the shop today!" yelled Xavier's sister, Cora. "Sorry, I had another weird dream."
"I think it's just the stories Hugo has been telling you. Don't let it get to you too much, ok?" said Cora as she walked out the room. ".....I don't know...." he said as he looked at his bedsheets. "What was that place?" He was so lost in thought that he didn't notice his sister peeking around the corner. "Are you still in bed!?! Hurry up slowpoke!" Cora yeets a pillow at his face. Xavier attempts to dodge it, but ends up falling out of bed.
"Ahh!"

"This is the sixth time in a row we are late to help mom because of you! Do you wanna get dragged through the city, have everything you love taken away from you, and forced to do every chore that's ever existed!?!?!" Cora stressed as Xavier and her walked down the streets of Harlow City.

"Sorry..." said Xavier as he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.
"Here take these packages and deliver them to their proper destinations." Cora handed him four boxes. " When your done head straight to the shop."
"Yeah, I know." Xavier was already turned around headed for the first house.

"I mean it! Don't go hanging around with Hugo. Business is really tight right now and mom can use all the help she can get."
"I won't! Gosh, stop treating me like a child, I'm 18!" Xavier said stopping in his tracks and turning around to face his sister.
"Well, you sure don't act like it!" Cora smirked finally walking off to deliver her four packages.
"Ugh, she's the same age as me, but acts as if she's 20." Xavier continues walking to the first house.

When he arrives he places one of the boxes in front of the door and gives it a gentle knock before heading to the next house. He continues this until he finally has one box left.
"Okay, last one." Instead of putting the box down he continues to hold it and knocks on the door. He waits a few minutes and soon an old lady appears in the doorway.

"Good morning Mrs.Kōhen!"
"Good morning Xavier." She said with a smile on her face.
"I have the cook books you ordered!" He handed her the box.
"Thank you so much. These came just in time for me to try out these new cake recipes I found. Would you like to stay to have some?"
"Thanks for the offer, but I have to get back to the shop to help my mom."
"Oh dear, your growing up fast. Before I know it you'll be married and have a little business of your own." Xavier laughed kinda awkwardly.

"Have a nice day Mrs.Kōhen!" Xavier waved goodbye and left.
"You too dear!" She went back inside and started baking. On the way to the shop Xavier passed Hugo's house. He looked up to see if his bedroom window was open. It was shut and the blinds were closed.
"Hmm, he must be out or something. I'll ask him later." As he turned to leave he saw swift movement in the corner of his eye.

"What the hell?" He quickly turned around to see what is was, but nothing was there. He just shrugged it off and kept walking. Little did he know there was someone there, and they were watching him. They continued to follow him in the shadows on his way to the shop.
