Thea's POV
I sat up as the sun broke through the blinds and hit my face. It seemed to be too early for me to be up on a Saturday.

"Thea?" Brook called from the abyss. "Are you up?"

I yawned and rubbed my eyes, "I guess so now."

"Good because we have a big day ahead of us."

I opened my eyes. My best friend was in leggings and a school tee shirt. She was putting her hair up into a bun. I was confused, "Big day?"

"Don't you remember...?" She seemed confused by me being confused. "We are going to go to the swim meet to cheer on Castiel, Leanne, and our school. Then we have volleyball tryouts, and later tonight we're going to go watch the basketball game against our rival?"

"I was not aware of any of this."

"Oh yeah," she gave her classic chuckled. "I forgot to tell you. I signed us up to tryout for volleyball. I remembered that you said you used to play with your dad and it was there. So, I signed us up. I also figured it would take your mind off of your dreams."

I got out of bed, "What even are our colors?"

"You really haven't been paying attention, have you?"

I shook my head, "Not in the slightest."

"It's black and scarlet red."

I nodded. I went to my dresser. I pulled out jeans. I searched through my closet. I didn't have much red and black combinations. I pulled out my black duster and a nice red, v-neck t-shirt from Maurice's.

I slipped into it. Brooklyn was waiting by the door, "Come on! We're going to be late!"

Third Person POV
The pool area was cold. Thea was glad she was wearing the duster. Brooklyn led her roommate to the seating. Their friend group—besides Leanne, Castiel, and Alek—were already waiting there.

"Hey guys!" Castor waved.

"Hey. Has it started yet?" Brooklyn took her seat.

"No," Artemis sighed. "It got delayed five minutes because something was in the water."

"Do you think-"

"Yep," Echo nodded. "You could tell when he smirked as they were about to start."

"Why would Castiel want to delay the match?" Brook asked.

"He looked at all of us before he got up on the stand," Tau answered. "I guess he didn't want to go unless everyone was here."

Footsteps were heard entering the room amongst everyone's chitter-chatter. The group turned. Their jaws dropped.

"Dad!" Echo smiled as she got up and ran to them. "Uncle! What are you two doing here?"

"Came to see your sister and cousin beat those fakers," Thor hugged his youngest.

"I came to make sure they don't cheat my son," Loki's facial expressions didn't change.

The three of them came and sat. Echo and Thor sad down by Brooklyn. Loki sat behind them, next to Thea. She didn't try to start conversation, betting to herself that it would either created awkwardness or tension.

"Alright Falcons!" The announcer echoed over the speaker. The crowd cheered. "Who's ready to knock the competition out of the water?!"

Their swim team ran from their shower rooms. Their coach was someone Thea couldn't recognize, "Who's their coach?"
