Blake Lebedev-Meyers was a normal child for 11 years of his life, he then was told that he would possibly go Totally Blind, he was scared to be Blind. He wanted to play video games and watch movies. As he slowly started to go Blind he was wearing glasses and he wasn't teased like he thought he would be. He made so many friends with his glasses. Until January 15th he woke up and realized he couldn't see a thing, nothing all it was was extremely blurry and dark. He started to cry as he kept blinking and blinking to see if this was just his imagination.
Blake's POV
I screamed and cried as I heard my mom running up the stairs and into my room, hugging me. "Open your eyes Blake let me see them" I opened my eyes and tried to see my mom's face but it was just blurry and dark. She held me close and started to cry. "It's okay baby, it's okay...everything is okay..." she stopped hugging me and I heard her walk out of the room. "M-mom? A-are you still here? Mom!?!" I freaked out and cried thinking that my mom left me alone, I then felt her warm arms around me and I smiled. She then put my dad's old white stick in my hand. "Here you go...I'll call the school to tell them what happened" she let go and I heard her walking out of my room and closed the door. I then stood up and used the White stick to head to the bathroom to get ready for my day today. "Blake!" my mom called out. "Yes, mom!" I said trying to look for my toothbrush. I heard her come into the bathroom.A/N POV
Blake's mom lifted her son's head up and started to brush his teeth. "I remember doing this for you when you were a little boy, I never thought I had to do this for you again.." she cried and Blake felt her tears. "Mom..d-don't cry" he smiled. "You'll be with me forever and ever..right mom.." She nodded. "I promise Blake" she cleaned his face and brought him to his room. "W-wait mom, are you helping me change too!?!" he freaked out. His mom laughed. "Of course Blake" she knew what he likes to wear and picked out his clothes. "Alright, I have your jeans and your Green hoodie with a white t-shirt and some black Vans" Blake smiled. "I'll wear that mom!" he started to take off his clothes. His Mom frowned when he saw his body. "Baby, are you eating?" Blake 'looked' down. "I am, mom just not that much, I still miss dad.." she grabbed his hand and ran her fingers through his thick, short curly hair. "It's alright Blake I miss him too, you could've been Blind with him then you wouldn't feel so sad.." his mother kissed his forehead and helped him put on his clothes. She then got up and called the school. "Hello this is Sasha Meyers, Mother of Blake Meyers, Blake has gone totally blind" she was silent for a while as Blake was walking towards her. "M-mom can you talk please..." she nodded and started hum loudly. Blake used his stick to figure out where to go until he found his mom. She held him close. "It's alright Blake it's alright" He smiled, feeling his mother's arms. She hung up. "Alright let's get you to school. They got to school Kids looked at Blake and started to talk about him. Calling him a Cripple, Freak, Handicaped. Blake felt like he was different from the rest. "Blakie!" a voice called to him. "Ven?" he reached out to grab his friend's hand. Ven smiled and grabbed his hand. "The Principal told me to help you out since we are in the same class" Blake smiled. "Hah, thank you, Ven..."Blake Smiled. "No problem Blake" Ven smiled. Ven heard someone call Blake and cripple and he quickly got angry. "Hey! You don't know what it's like!" The kid quickly backed up and ran off crying. "Hmph, some people need to be nice..." Ven sighed and Blake hugged him tight, crying. "Ven...I don't want to be Blind anymore...." Ven looked at Blake. "I know, Blake I know..." Blake shook his head. "Why does this have to Happen?!?"
