Ch.5 -secrets

(...Five years later...)

Yoda sensed many midichlorians within luke and leia. He guessed that whomever the father was, he was strong in the force.

"Hmmm, strong in the force, these children are. Trained, Luke should be. Too much potential for the dark side, leia has."

Padme understood what he meant, besides leia would most likely hate being cooped up in a temple all day.

"Master Yoda, who should train him?" Padmé really hoped it would be Anakin, so that he could spend time with his son.

"Train him, Obi-wan will."

Padmé was dissapointed. Then she felt luke tug on her hand. She looked down lovingly at him.

"Mom, what's this force?"

Yoda chuckled. "Send Obi-wan, I will."

Leia smiled. "Uncle Obi-wan is coming?"

"Yes, leia."

...

Luke and leia were peacefully watching  Holo-programs when the door of the apartment swung open.

Padme didn't turn around, she already knew who was there. "Kids, say hi to uncle Obi-wan."

Obi-wan smirked, "Look who I brought with me.

Padme turned around to see a smiling Anakin, his cheeks blushing. She looked at him longingly, in surprise.

Luke ran up to them and looked up at Obi-wan, "Master Yoda said I'm good at the force, and that i should be trained by you!"

Leia meekly walked up to Anakin, and murmured, "That Yoda guy said I have too much potential for some bad side. But I thought potential was a good thing, Uncle Anakin..."

Anakin Empathized with Leia. "Eh, don't worry about it. I know lots of brave, useful, beautiful people that aren't Jedi." Leia smiled. She looked her mother.

...

Anakin played with his children while Padmé and Obi-wan discussed Luke's training. Luke was really excited about becoming a jedi. He reminded Anakin of his younger self.

Then luke asked Anakin, "Master Anakin, please, show me what you can do with the force!"

Anakin sat luke down on the couch, and looked into his eyes, "Luke Amidala, A jedi should not abuse of his powers." Then Anakin lifted luke slightly in the air (with the force) and winked. Luke's eyes sparkled.

Leia saw this and was amazed. "Mommy! Mommy! Luke's flying!"

With this, Anakin started laughing uncontrollably. Padme turned around, and in a slightly amused voice told Anakin,"put them down, you crazy jedi!"

Anakin smiled mischievously, " I'm sorry, senator~"

Padmé shook her head, looking down to hide her smile.

...

After the jedi had left, Padmé put her children to sleep. She was doing her research on a bill for the Senate, constantly distracted by the fun the family had that afternoon. This was one of the rare nights when Anakin wasn't on a mission, and didn't have any assignments from the council.

Then she heard a faint knock on the door.

Anakin stepped into the apartment. "Are they asleep?" He whispered.

"Yes," Padmé replied.

They embraced each other, and went into Padmé's room. Anakin held Padmé in his arms and fell asleep next to his angel.
