Chapter 9: The river pack

Hey guys hope you enjoy this chapter I don't really like this chapter but hopefully you will like it. Am I going to fast because when I read it I skim through because I wrote it but I wanna know how it is for you guys.

He made the first move immediately pinning me down. I managed to get him off and I jumped towards him but missed. Sean ran towards me I dodged and pinned him down. I growled and I felt his claws strike my face. I jumped a the pain. I wasn't going to let him win.

I went for his neck and bit as hard as I could. He fell to the ground I kept my grip not letting him up.

"Let go!" I heard Linda say. " Its over let go!" I kept my grip not listening. "Let go!" Linda pushed tried to push me off of Sean but I was to heavy so I just let go I had won. Linda stroked Sean's fur. I stood there watching. I hadn't killed him he was breathing that was a relief.

I looked at the crowd that had gathered as the stared in amazement. Sean slowly got up and walked toward me. I wondered what he was going to do he at no expression to hinting me.

Sean stood before me. I braced my self thinking whatever came was going to hurt. Instead it didn't he doused me in the pack sent. I had been accepted into the pack.

"Shift." Linda told me and I did.

"Go home." I shook my head yes and started home. I went up to my room and sat on my bed. I was always so bored and I had mixed feelings about the fight Linda was angry with me but I had won against the alpha male. I heard a knock on my door then it slowly opened and Joshua peeked in.

"Can I come in?"

"Yeah." I said.

"That was awesome I couldn't even beat him. Don't worry about Linda she'll get over it." Joshua stopped for a second and just looked around. "Does that hurt?"

"What?" I said.

"On your face." I got up and went to look in the mirror. Three scratches lay across my face. I didn't even notice. They bled but not much so I didn't do anything to them.

"No they don't." I said they stung but that was all.

"Ok well I'm gonna leave you alone."

"Wait I have one question," I said. Joshua gave me a huh? Look.

"How old are you?"

"Oh you had me thinking it was serious or something. I'm nineteen."

"Ok that's it." Joshua left and I went downstairs to eat I was hungry. I opened the refrigerator and looked around. I took an apple and ate it. I turned around to go back up to my room to see Linda standing there.

"Why?" She said.

"Why what?"

"You didn't treat it like a test."

"What do you mean?" I said.

"That little stunt you pulled at the end you went way to far."

"Look." I said. " It was a test and I did it because he scratched me and I was losing. I'm proud of myself and Sean didn't say anything."

"He isn't Sean to you anymore call him Alpha." Linda says.

"And you."

"Luna. Now go play with your fellow pups and stay out of people's way." Linda walked off. I hadn't expected Linda to be anyway like this from the impression I got off of her when we first met. I was mad that she called me a pup I didn't like being thought of that way.

I went outside looking for someone to talk to or something to do when I saw Katelin sitting by a tree. She was messing with a rock or something and I sat down next to her.
