1 week later....
Nothing happened.
Nothing changes.
In another word, everything is still the same.
No one knows about the dinner and nothing changes between Noah and I. Just like he said. But, there's one question that stuck in my mind. Even after a week, I'm still wondering why he doesn't want people to know about our dinner ? Is it such a big deal ? I can handle it if its turns into something bad cause its not really my fault the dinner 'happened' right ?
Maybe.
I can't help but wondered.
I didn't hear what Ashlyn said untill her voice jerking me out from my own thought.
"Sofia, do you heard me?" She asked sounds frustrated.
"Ah? Sorry, no. What did you said ?" I asked her again.
She huffed, "you really in a deep thought!"
I can't help but laughed. Ashlyn literally dealing with her bad mood right now because she just knew Alexander seeing someone else and she can't 'moved one' . It's not like they are dating duh. But I know how it feel when you're to obsess with your crush aka someone who you really like. Then find out they're dating someone *sigh*. I felt sorry for her. She's beautiful and there's a plenty man out there who she can date but she rejects(not interested) them.
To me, it's impossible to be noticed by your crush especially when your crush became a riot to everyone. You know what I mean right ?
Ashlyn sighed and plopped down her head on the table.
"Obviously you like him" I said in duh tone. Ashlyn snapped her head look up to me like I said something wrong. I continue slipping my tea ignoring Ashlyn's stares.
"No! It's just I don't want him to date someone who only want him for his looks, money or so" Ashlyn groaned.
"You think you can fool me? Come on Ash, we're not in highschool anymore" I gave her a smirked and shook my head. "Nope, you can't" I added again.
"I don't.... know" Ashlyn pouted as she playing with her thumbs. I can only smiled sympathetically.
You know sometimes, we don't always get what we want in this world. We need to fight for it to get it. Even people with pretty faces, a lots of money, a very well-known ones also couldn't have everything they want. But if they did got something, they still will have the slightest sense of loss in themselves. If you really like him/her/it don't stop hoping and pray for it. Have a faith in what it will be whether it comes sooner or late, it doesn't matter. If it's the right thing for you, trust me God will give it to you but He's waiting for the right time. Same goes to if you and him/her were meant to be, then there's no one can stop it.
"BOO!" Someone attacked me from behind. I turn around to see Lauren who is laughing at my shocked reaction while clutching her books over her chest. I rolled my eyes at her and turn to sip my tea. Lauren pull the chair next to me and sat on it.
"Soooo...." Lauren began as soon as she sat
Both Ashlyn and I looked at her.
"I heard Alexander started seeing someone fo-" Lauren stated but Ashlyn cut her off.
"Lauren, I know. Stop it" Ashlyn groaned, closing both her ears. Lauren let out a chuckle finding it amusing to tease Ashlyn in that way.
Lauren pulled out her phone from her backpack and scrolling through it. I continued eating my tuna-cheese sandwich that Ryan bough for me. Ashlyn ? She continued reading her novel that I'm 100% sure her eyes focusing on the novel but her mind still wandering about "her Alex".
