~chapter two~

Noah's POV~

I watched her eating the pizza, getting hair in her mouth and the sauce dripping down the corner of her mouth.

My best friend is beautiful.

She doesn't have a single flaw.

Her bright hazel eyes matched perfectly with the millions of tiny freckles on her cheeks and nose, and her light brown long wavy hair.

Yes. I am in love with my best friend.

"You done staring?" She grinned, "I mean I know I'm beautiful but your pizzas getting cold." Did she really just use my own words against me? I taught her well...

I just can't help myself, I lean forward and wipe off the sauce dripping down the corner of her mouth with my thumb. Causing her cheeks to turn pink. I suck the sauce off of my thumb and look down at my pizza because I know she is staring at me, I look up to her and smile quickly then shoot my eyes down again.

~ three hours later~

"Ugh do we have to watch The Hunger Games again?" I moan and give her the puppy dog eyes, "I mean I'm glad you don't pick chick flicks all the time but this is starting to get just as bad as them! We've watched it like a million times!" I humph crossing my arms.

"Fine we won't watch it then, what about Saving Private Ryan? We've not watched that in ages!" I nod and she puts the DVD in then comes and cuddles into my shoulder. I wrap an arm around her and she rests her head on my chest. I love cuddling with her.

*beep beep*
Emily checks her phone.

"Oh it's dad, he said he's not coming home tonight. He has to do nightshift at work, he'll be home at 2 tomorrow."

"Okay Emmy." That was my nickname for her, nobody else was allowed to call her that. She snuggles her head back into my chest and I play with her hair.

~one hour later~

I carried Emmy up the stairs and tucked her into her bed, then pulled my trousers and shirt off leaving me just wearing my boxers and got in beside her.

"Night Noah," she whispered and cuddled into me.

"Night Emmy, I love you." I whispered kissing her forehead.

"I love you too."

Oh Emmy you don't know how much I love you...
