"Everything will be ok Isa! I will always be by your side no matter what happens."
Her words reassured me, but it wasn't enough. I needed Zayn's comfort, his presence, telling me that everything will be alright.
She faced me and gave me a hug. I was trying my best to hold back the tears but it almost seemed impossible.
"I just wish he was here."
"He doesn't deserve you! He has put you through so much shit."
The door slowly opened and in the tall Doctor came. I sigh and look down at my hands because I can tell it's not good news.
"How are you feeling?" he asks as he takes a seat in front of us while holding some papers.
"I'm okay," I smile but he can tell that I'm lying.
"Well before I give you your results Isabelle, I want you to relax and take deep breathes. Is it fine if your friend steps out?"
"I would prefer she stayed here if that's fine"
"No worries. This process will be very hard from now on so you will need a friend."
Laren placed her arm on my back as if she was trying to sooth the pain away.
"First things first, you are not pregnant so that's cleared. We checked your urine and we found no signs. Now we did take a look at your CT scans but they don't look good."
I already knew what he would say next, but I wasn't ready to accept it.

Btw: If any of you saw the trailer you might (or might not) have seen a baby so I don't want you to assume that the main character will get pregnant. I don't plant to have anyone pregnant. I did a mistake when I was editing the video, I forgot to cut that scene out and so when I uploaded it to Youtube it stayed there. Whoops.
