It all happened so fast, to think I was on my way to grab a few art supplies for my drawing, i've been working on it for weeks, trying to find the right colors is a challenge but it's worth it once you find it. I was running in the rain, soaked. Dripping once I walked in the store, dragging mud in the building with every step I took. I pulled my hoodie up and plugged my headphones in listening to music as I wandered the store, looking for the right colors, to finish my so called masterpiece, at least what my close friend julia called it...

"This drawing is amazing Marion!" Julia said to me with enthusiasm laced in her words.
"Thanks, eh, I didn't really think it was that good, after all i'm not even done." I replied while scratching the back of my neck.
"Well when you finish this masterpiece it's gonna be beautiful." She told me as she looked in my eyes with love...we're just friends but we still say 'I love you' and such, flashback over
Julia's dead. She passed away a few months ago, she was hit by a drunk driver and didn't survive it, it's left me not depressed but sad, very sad but I know I can get through it. So i've made it my aspiration to finish this painting, in honor of her, she was a beautiful girl. She had long brown hair that reached down to her small waist, vivid dark green eyes that you could stare at forever and get lost but Julia would help you find your way back. A beauty mark in the middle of her small nose that made her special and plump pink lips that anyone would want to kiss. I found my color...a dark green just like Julia's eyes for the grass in my painting. I took my headphones out and headed to the cash register.
"Is that all for today sir?" the cashier asked
"Yeah for now I'll be back tomorrow." I replied
I left the store with my pencil in hand, as I was crossing the rode I stopped in my tracks to realize I forgot to ask for change back, it wasn't much money only like 20 cents but hey, i'm not a rich man on my way back there was a car and...
I got hit.
