Prologue

Floor 74 Boss

Y/N's POV

"Switch!" I came from behind Kirito and use my lightning type skill thanks to my other sword. I blocked the Gleam Eyes's attack and stabbed my sword into the ground. 

"Go to hell!" I said as lighting spread around my armor. Asuna, Klein, and Kirito stared at me amazed at this skill that I have. "Lightning Fall!" Blue lightning spread across the entire boss room, hitting the boss. I saw the boss hp disappear bar by bar. When it hit zero, the boss weapon fell to the ground and broke into blue crystals. 

The congratulations screen appeared before my eyes. I read the stats to see all of my col and xp that I got. Kirito, Asuna, and Klein walked up to me. 

"When did you learn that?!" 

"Not that long ago. You should ask Kirito the same thing about his Dual Wield." I said as I yawned. 

"Haha, that is so not cool Y/N," I smirked. 

"Sorry, not sorry. Anyways, we should head back. Let's get these idiots healed." I said I let everyone walk in front of me first. Asuna waited for me till I caught up with her. 

"You looked so badass back there." She held on my arm. 

"I really did. I'm not even gonna lie." I put my arm around her to pull her closer to me. "I love you." I plant a kiss on her forehead. She giggled and kissed me on the cheek. 

"I love you too." 

2 years later...

I remember all of it. Even though I was one of the best, I still hated that game. It haunts me to this day, but I try not to think of it. Thankfully, I have so many friends and family that help me when I need it. Especially Asuna, my beautiful girlfriend. I'm glad that I have her in my life. If it wasn't for her, I probably would be dead by now. But things lately, haven't been the same. We don't really talk as much or go on dates that often anymore. When I try to arrange for a date, she always cancels and says she has homework to do. 

I know she has to keep her grades but I'm worried. I just hope she still loves me. I was so deep in thought that I bumped into someone. "Oh my god, I am so sorry. Let me give you a hand." 

"Thank you." I picked up her glasses and handed them to her. When I gave her her glasses. "Wait. Y/N? Is that you?"

"Shino?" I smiled and gave her a hug. This is Shino Asada, one of my best friends since I've been a little kid. We know each other pretty well and she's been there for me when I needed it. I remember she moved away when we were still in grade school. 

"How have you been?" I asked her. 

"I've been good. How about you?"

"Ah not much. Just heading home actually. Wanna come over for a bit?" I asked her. 

"Sure. It would be nice to catch up after a while."
