I didn't even know I was a Mistress in the first place! I mean, there weren't even any obvious signs. I thought I was such hot shit; young me with my fine ass older man. He was fine too! He had the money, the cars and the status. He showered me in gifts and love. We were so in love. Or .. I was so in love How could I be this damn dumb? How did I get here; sitting in this damn hospital, shackled to a bed and waiting on the damn D .a to come offer me a plea deal? I didn't even know where to start or who to blame. Did I blame the neglect, My childhood, the abortions, the drinking? Nah, I blamed my mother. She brought me to this.

..... That fucking bitch!

The doors opened and the Attorney Janisha Turner walked in with a heavily armed officer at her side. She looked Carmen over and side eyed the officer. " Are these really necessary?" Turner asked in annoyed tone. " You aren't about to talk to some liquor store thief. She isn't here for stealing gum." The officer snarled in disgust. Turner walked close up to the bed and locked eyes with Carmen. " She isn't going to hurt me. Unchain her." Turner demanded. The officer began to speak before Turner cut him off. " She already killed her target. She isn't a mass murderer. This was a crime of passion Her target is dead. Now unchain her so we can get this over with. " Turner demanded again. The officer puffed air and then unchained Carmen. She moved her wrists around and examined them. The room fell silent for what felt like forever " Carmen, I'm District Attorney Turner. I've come here to offer you a deal. To avoid a jury and the press, I've come to get you to admit your guilt to the murder." Turner pulled papers from her file and slapped them on the bed in front of Carmen. Carmens tired eyes wandered over the gruesome images. The pictures almost made Carmen sick. " I... I don't want to say I did it." Carmen stammered as she wiped her nose."And why not Carmen?" Turner asked as she folded her arms. " Because I didn't do it!" Carmen hollered. Turner nodded and set more photos down. " Of course you did. I understand you must have been hurt. Finding out the man you loved wasn't being honest with your I've been there. Love is an aweful thing. And it'll make you act crazy. " Turner insisted. Carmen looked for the window and saw that the moon sat high in the sky and shooting right into her hospital room. Turner pulled up a chair close to the bed and sat in it. "Carmen, I have a daughter who's your age. She's going on vacation in a couple of days. Her and some of her girlfriends. Don't you want to go on vacation with your friends? You can. I can get you out of this is you just tell me what I need to know. I don't want you to pay for thr selfish decisions of some man who prayed on your Innocence." Carmen sucked up the tears that were falling. * What do you need to know?" She quietly cried out. Turner smiled and leaned back in her chair. She pulled her iPhone from her bag and started recording. "

"Tell me where you first met DeMarcus."
