The Dark Soul (Stein Fanfiction)

Chapter 16

        Class had already started when I woke up. Stein was teaching about how to have a better soul resonance.

        " He didn't even try to wake you up" A deep voice said next to me. I didn't have to look to know who it was. It was one of my shadows. They always had a wavering shadowy form when they tried to look like they had a human form. I wasn't worried about people seeing them because people that weren't witches couldn't.

        I knew that something was up about Stein. It's like there's a secret that everyone knows about me.

        " They hate you. They know your different. They know already." When the shadow said that I started panicking. I looked at the shadow and he nodded confirming my suspicion. They know that I am a witch.

        Another shadow appeared on the other side of me.

        " It will be okay dear. All you have to do is kill them. Then no one would know." Said a motherly voice.

        "Why do you always refrain to killing people." I whispered to the motherly shadow.

        " That's how you get your way" The shadow stated matter of factly.

        " Not always" I mumbled. I knew they heard me but they decided not to say anything.

                                                                                -Time skip-

        I walked out of the school alone. I walked into the forest and sat by a big tree. 10 minutes later I started to hear people's voices.

        " I heard she's a witch" Said a girl.

        " Who that girl named Sakura? Asked another girl.

        " You really think that's her name?" Before I had to listen anymore I stood up and walked out from behind the tree. The girls spotted me and started laughing. One of the girls had blond curly hair with yellow eyes and the other had straight Black hair.

        " Speak... Of the... Devil!" The girl with blond hair laughed out. My shadows started pouring out of me pointing towards the girls.

        " Ooh! So scary!" The girl with black hair spat out. Then the blond haired girl turned into a sword and went into the other girls hand.

        She ran towards me and swung her sword at me. One of my shadows blocked it and I made one cut in the black haired girls shoulder. She stumbled backwards and said something to her weapon.

        " Come on don't resist! You know you want to kill her!" One of my shadows laughed out. The blond haired girl got up and ran towards me again swinging her sword which I blocked but instead tried to kick me. It was to late though. I had already sent one of my shadows out piercing her in the heart.

        She feel to the ground limp and her weapon transformed into a human forgetting me. I stabbed the blond haired girl with my scythe arm and she feel to the ground.

        " What am I doing?" I asked myself confused as I stumbled backwards. I ran away from the two dead girls and ran to Stein's house.

        I busted into the house and saw Stein on one of the couches with some beer.

        " Pass me some" I said to him. He passed me a bottle of beer and I drank all of it. He opened his arms for me and I curled up on his lap.

        He rubbed my head soothingly. I started getting sleepy when he finally started talking to me. " Are you really a witch?" He asked me.

        " Ya" I replied.

        " What kind?"

        " A shadow witch"

        " What type of power do you have?" He asked me.

        " I can control shadows, make lights go out, and cause hallucinations," I told him. I waited awhile before adding, " I have to show you something sometime" I was having a hard time staying awake and it was clear that he noticed.

        " Go up to your room and go to asleep" Stein said in a demanding tone. I did as I was told and got up. I went to the stairs and started climbing them. Stein followed me up the stairs. When I got wobbly he steadied me. He's so nice. I thought.

        I got to my room and went in. Stein closed the door behind me. I sat down on my bed when I heard a click. Gas started streaming out of the bed swallowing me up. I fell over and fell asleep.
